Would Not RecommendWhy is the breaker tie plastic now? This was going to be for a generator inlet, I can't leave the chance open that the breaker tie breaks and leaves one of the legs hot or it breaks when someone forces the breaker on defeating the safety interlock and energizes a leg as well. I didn't notice this before I completed the job so I had to redo everything and swap it with an older GE breaker with a proper steel tie from a different less critical slot. Ridiculous that I have to do work twice in a live...

Great as breaker for whole house surge protector
Needed 50 amp 2 pole breaker to hook up eaton whole house surge protector. Didn't want to use a slimline and fortunately could rearrange existing breakers to land surge protection closest to the main breaker where transients first propagate.

Originally, I had ordered a 90 amp breaker. However, when it arrived, a critical screw was missing. When I returned the breaker to the store, they did not have it in stock. So, I had to settle for this 60 amp breaker.
