This heater is a basic great budget heater. If placing in an area where if something goes wrong the water will not do damage. Didn’t need the 200 or 300 series with all the up to date smart phone apps etc. Would have like to get the one with longer warranty but it had to be ordered and I needed it the same day. Easy to install.

dented too badly to use!
Would Not RecommendBefore I could even get the box fully cut open, I saw the top-back of the unit was damaged. Upon further inspection, the back and bottom are also damaged. The box is just flimsy cardboard, with no reinforcement, and provides NO protection for the unit.

Would Not RecommendThe water heater I bought came broken and they refused to give money back or take it back and I’m moving so I left it on my front porch if anyone wanna come scrap it or drop it off in the Lowe’s parking lot let me know

Poor water heater installation
Would Not RecommendWater heater installed and sputtered out water for 2 days until no more water in entire house since installation. Got phone tag run around and automated assistance. Still no water

It Lasted A Year!
Would Not RecommendBottom heating element burned out after exactly one year of use. Usually we get nearly ten years out of a water heater. I am thoroughly disgusted. I am completely done with the quality of appliances Lowes sells. Total junk. I am going to replace the element myself, and forgo the mind-numbing run-around I would get with the "warranty" process. I totally regret paying $509 for this boat anchor!

All good, be sure to ck spigot after removing box
Would Not RecommendPlumber got installed, turned on water and discovered the plastic drain spigot was cracked and leaking. It took an extra hour and a half to remove the broken end from inside threads.

Would Not RecommendWe had our first one for only 3 years and it took a crap, AO smith did warranty it so that was nice, Lowe’s was great handed us a gift card and we went and got the same one. Well here we are one year later and the heating element went out, save your money and go with a more name brand hot water heater these ones are junk
