Please, bring back the old rectangle design!

First off, the shape is extremely awkward for stacking. Rectangles of equal dimensions were superior to the new tapered design. Lots of wasted freezer space now. However, that isn't the worst of it. The lids on the newly designed containers do not lock. I bought 6 of them and not a single one of the lids locked. I've resorted to taping them when they're in the fridge, which as you can imagine is as inconvenient as it sounds. When freezing them not even tape keeps them on. It's amazing that Ziplo...

Bring back old design

I loved the old square design. They saved so much space. Now these are like all the other ones. So disappointed in the change.

Square design was superior

Wish no star was an option. The new design wastes space when stacking in the refrigerator, freezer and cabinet. Like many others, I'd have stocked up had I known they'd be discontinued. I hope you'll reconsider and bring back to 8 cup rectangle containers

I agree with the many other reviewers: Why change such a great product? The old design of the large rectangular containers worked so well with their straight sides. The closure was simple but effective. I don't like this newer styled container and won't buy it.

I've used ziploc containers

I've used ziploc containers for years . Their so cheep and if they break or melt I can throw them away and buy new .very microwaveable

Another PERFECT product discontinued! :-(

For years we have bought the 76 oz (large rectangle) containers because they are the PERFECT size - almost as if they were custom-made - for a loaf pan-sized cake. We bake and give carrot cakes to many of our neighbors every year at Christmastime, as well as for housewarmings, etc., and the old design was absolutely perfect. Now we don't know where to go or what to do. We need some kind of alternative that will hold, protect, and preserve our loaf pan-sized cakes!

Bring back old rectangle design

Our lid on our last remaining container with the old rectangle design finally broke! The old style is perfect for storing 4 slices of pizza, the rounded containers just don't work!

So weird and stupid that they would change the design that was working so well. I didn't realize they discontinued the other size and I'm so disappointed. Those were actually a useful perfect size and I had a bunch. Was gonna get more and come to find this smushed down design that just sucks.

Prior 9 cup containers stacked better and had a better seal.

Never again

Square corners made these containers unique & desirable (better !!!). Now they suck like sll the other brand names & no names.

Bring Back Large Rectangle Container!

Bring back the original large rectangle container with squared corners that can fit 8 cupcakes in the container. I bought these containers for years and would have stocked up had I known that they wouldn't be sold anymore. I am so disappointed in the design of the new containers. They are horrible. I am looking for a replacement, but haven't found one yet. I know many feel the same way. I hope whomever makes the decision on what containers are made/sold listens to what customers are asking for.

Will not buy again

This size is not good the sides are to tapered. They should go back to the old size. Get a new design team that actually uses the product. I am switching brand for the rectangular large for sure. This product was a fail.

These lids! I'm so frustrated

I've tried and tried to get these lids to fit, sneaking around the outside and it kinks and buckles at the final corner. If you think you have one on, it pops open in the fridge. I've wasted my money on 4 sets! Don't do it!

I would not buy this product anymore

I agree with many of your reviewers. I do not like the new design. I liked the old design as I could stack them in my freezer and they were easy to take with us when we went skiing etc. This new design wastes space a doesn't hold as many muffins

Horrible, one time use only!

I will never buy these again. You just look at them and they break.

Go back to the old design

I loved the old design. They had corners that were square rather than curved and could store more and better for stacking in the freezer. I am going over to a different company. You have lost me as a customer.

These lids have become the bane of my existence

HOW did this product get okayed? The lids DO NOT fit on the container and DO NOT stay on. Getting a lid onto a container shouldn't feel like a whole workout. I was enough of a fool to trust the packaging saying it was leakproof, and it turns out you can't even get all four corners of the lid onto the container without wrestling the container into submission (and even then it's unlikely). Just a sad, unbelievably bad product.

The lids didn't fit or I couldn't figure it out

I bought these a while ago and they didn't work. The lid would not seal; one part of the lid would always pop up. Eventually, the loose lid came off in my hand and spilled, so I bought more of the old style. Now, I need more, and I am left with these or a new brand. When I tested the one I have left, the lid still doesn't seal. I guess it's time for a new brand because I'm not risking my money on them again.

Bring Back the Old Containers!

These are horrible. They hold less, don't stack tight in the freezer, and don't nest with other sizes in the cupboard when they're empty. The previous iteration was genius. I've used these for years, but moving on.

I will be switching to different storage

Go back to the old design. I will be switching to round plastic quart and pint storage because they are stackable and the design won't change. Loved the old ones. I have to think you changed the design so that we all have to discard our old and buy all new ones so that we can stack. Bad idea. You have lost me as a loyal consumer and I would bet many others as well. I won't try any other design you come up with. Just go back to your original molds.
