it didn't take much rain to puddle on the edges of the canopy and collapse. I needed $34 worth of parts to repair. I filled out the Z-shade online order form. when I got to the shipping part, the least expensive option was $80.62. A very poor product.

Adequate

After reading reviews, I thought I had made a mistake but once I got it up, I realized it is adequate for my needs for shade in the backyard since we lost our shade in Hurricane Beryl. I will say that the instructions could be a little better but I figured it out. The instructions say it needs two people to set it up but I set it up by myself. brakes just like the cheap ones

I thought this canopy would last longer than the cheaper $99 canopies I have had in the past. I was wrong. It failed the second time I used it. Who would have thought that you can't leave a canopy up in the rain, not a storm just a steady rainfall during a yard sale.

Sturdy strong frame.

My sister got this and I kept borrow it because I liked it so much, now I bought my own. I love how sturdy the legs are. I had a party and used hers and mine, and it looked so elegant.

This canopy is tall and wide. Plenty of overhead space for tall people.

This canopy is cheap!

The frame is extremely weak. I think the frame is made from extruded aluminum foil. The tent seems ok, but they should construct water tight openings so an updraft has a place to escape. The (metal?) frame bends like a pretzel. Lowe's should remove this from inventory because it is junk!

Provides Shade on Sunny Days Only

I bought this tent a year ago for an event. It shaded the workers and guests wonderfully. I took it out this year to use in the rain and it collapsed, breaking one of the poles. I'm glad nothing under it was damaged. But needless to say, only use this tent in fair weather.

Poorly designed

Sides not able to attach to the frame so water pooled in the corners causing it to collapse.

Good for large groups

This is a great size for larger gatherings. The shade is noticeably larger than your typical 10x10. Really easy to set up and put away as well. It has levers to push in rather than the smaller buttons that get difficult to push over time.

Makes a nice sun shade but not anywhere it rains.

The top held water and bent the gram to where it broke in the first week. This was not a heavy ran at all!!!
