Perfect for our needs

When we started searching for a refrigerator to fit our needs, it seemed like an impossible task. We wanted counter-depth, black (to match the rest of the existing appliances), french door, freezer on the bottom and if possible with no exposed ice dispenser, potentially something that would not break the bank. We were ready to compromise until we found this one. We have only had it for a few days, but so far so good. We love how spacious it is, and the fact that it allows for shelves to be adjus...

Ice Maker Loud

Bought this in February. Noticed immediately that the ice maker is extremely loud when filling up. Had to turn it off. Embarrassing when there’s company for dinner. Called Support and they said it was ‘normal’. Ridiculous. The doors are also not aligned properly. We’ve tried to do what the book says to remedy that, but there’s no hole to adjust it. When it was delivered (by Home Depot’s contractor), they set it up quickly but there’s still tiny bits of plastic wrapping in areas that’s hard to ge...

poor door alignment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doors could not be aligned, and they were off by 1/4 inch. Local dealer brought in another unit to replace the original unit. Poor quality craftmanship out the factory. second unit was aligned correctly. Local independent dealer was great to work with

36-Inch Wide Counter-Depth French Door

We purchased this refrigerator 3 weeks ago and we are very happy with the product We are very happy with the freezer on the bottom instead of the top. The shelving in unit is easily assessable because of the French doors and everything in the frig is at eye level and much larger then our old frig We should have replaced our old frig years ago.

Basic refrigerator, but has kept everything cold.

Ongoing Failure of Whirlpool Refrigerator Ice Make

January 2026, the refrigerator stopped producing ice. Since that time, Whirlpool has sent technicians to my home six separate times in an attempt to repair the unit. Despite these visits, the ice maker still does not function.

Try to replace a previous Whirlpool bought 8 years ago, big mistake I just ordered it thinking I get the same replacement. No the new one on the outside had the same look which is great ... but the inside was reduced in quality, the shelves were a cheaper plastic very disappointed.

Hums annoyingly when running.

It was not doing this at first, but now is quite noticeable and annoying. I have eliminated it touching the wall or cabinetry and conclude it is the compressor or fan. If it continues we will need to have a tech look at it. It is loud enough for us to hear from another room, and our hearing is not great...

Wonderfully designed—great upgrade

I ended up with a fridge that is counter depth, and it is so tiny. But more importantly, the deli drawer of the fruit and vegetable drawer have these little rollers that are so cheap and sound that way it’s rocking when you try to pull them out it doesn’t feel sturdy. Still have room to improve

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have been using it few months, both fridge and freezer door are easy to not close properly, especially freezer. If freezer doesn’t have full of food inside, the door will be too light to close all the way. Also the noise is loud.
