Nice features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this washer. Just had a couple problems since owning. The 1st problem was the door wouldn’t open after wash and I had to look on YouTube to take off top cover and manually unlock latch and tighten. The other issue we’re low water error codes.

BEWARE: Washes but Mold Inevitable

Bought brand new and just as others mention mold is bad issue, inevitable.

It is also quiet when washing, allowing me to work or sleep while the clothes are washing. It has multi functions. I can’t live without this unit!! Wash & Mold

BLACK MOLD COLLECTS IN DISPENSE! DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE! Very disappointing this machine is big and works well but it has an on going problem of growing mold.

Total Waste of Money

Purchased in 2018 and giving up on it after 2 frustrating years. My clothes started stinking less than a year after use. I am not one to leave my clothes in the washer after it is done either. Good washer with a moldy drawer

All in all, I do think this is a good washer that I have been satisfied with. It just has a serious design flaw with the detergent drawer. I would notice mold growing on the drawer and would bleach it occasionally. However, it would always come back. I finally peeked inside the drawer housing...after 2 years... and found it covered in mold. The only way I could remove it was aggressively spraying it with diluted bleach with a direct stream spray pattern, sort of power washing it off. N...

Mold EVERYWHERE

Mold is the dispenser, mold in the seal. This is the worst washer I have ever had. I have an older front loading Whirpool and not a speck of black. This grosses me out every time I open the door.

Issues within first 6 mos

I had issues with this unit within the first 6 mos of ownership with the electronics. Although service was prompt and resolved, was disappointed as the previous unit by Frigidaire lasted 15 years with no issues...It is true that things don't last as long as they used to, even when they cost far less...

Several issues

I bought both washer and dryer. There is an inherent flaw with the design. The area where the detergent, bleach and softener go is moldy and it keeps coming back. I looked inside and it was disgusting. So much mold. Now the detergent holder is taking on water. I can’t figure out why. Additionally, somehow it appears as though fabric softener made its way between the panels of the door. Not sure I would recommend this project. It is just three years old.

Change Detergents To Prevent Mold

Have loved our Washer! Had mold challenges also but changed froom Tide to Meyers Laundry Detergent - clothes are super clean and smell great!!

Horrible. Extreme mold, impossible to get rid of

I purchased this washing machine 3 years ago, and it has been horrible. I follow all of the cleaning instructions but it is filled with black mold. I am about to have a baby and simply do not want to wash her clothes in this washer because of the extreme mold problem. I regularly buy Afresh, wipe down the gasket and dispenser, leave the door open, etc. This product is absolutely terrible.

Mold found in dispenser & not a good cleaner

I am a loyal Whirlpool customer as I have always purchased their products and found them to be well worth the money. I have a Load & Go washer which I have found to not measure up to the other products I have purchased through the yrs. Multiple problems

The first two problems I noticed were the load and go dispenser gets diluted with water, so it never indicates the soap dispenser needs to be refilled. I had to go back to using detergent pods and they don't always dissolve properly in this front load washer. The second issue is that the soap dispenser area gets very moldy, so i have to take it out and leave the door open and washer frequently with affresh cycle to try to prevent mold. Good for a home with no pets

I have owned this washer now for about 3 years. It has washed my clothes effectively and the spin fresh cycle is nice. But when it comes to needing to clean the filter... Which you have to do often with pets in the house. Broke in 3 years

Washing machine broke after 3 years - E01/F01 - repair company stated repair is as costly as replacement. :-( Worked great for 3 years but for the price was hoping to get more use out of it.

Thick Black Mold

After reading the reviews, I checked out my own washer expecting it to be fine and instead finding it full of mold. I have children with serious chronic health conditions and can only imagine how the mold has been contributing to their poor health.

Very very disappointing

I’ve purchased Whirlpool products forever due to excellence of durability and ease of use. Unfortunately the latest Washer I purchased a year ago with the LOAD & GO feature STINKS!!!!! No matter how many ways my wife and myself have tried to get the dispenser to allow the correct amount of soap we’ve failed. It either puts too much or too little which incurs us to wash clothes multiple times, very annoying, frustrating and expensive!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER!!!!!!!!
