Nice ladder, but maybe a one-off issue?

Ladder is very nice, these fiberglass ones have always been my favorite because they're easy to move, sturdy, and don't have sharp edges that dent walls when moved in the house. However, I do have a complaint about the specific ladder I received. I purchased the ladder online when it was on sale, and when it arrived, it seemed like the plastic material that the top panel was made of hadn't fully cured. It's sticky/tacky to the touch, and doesn't wipe clean like the usual manufacturing residue mi...

There is NO flip down shelf at the top.

This fiberglass ladder is as light as a similar aluminum ladder. The big difference is that this fiberglass ladder lacks the flip down shelf at the top. However, this allows the fiberglass ladder to open more quickly and lock in place at half the cost. If you do not need the flip down shelf, then I highly recommend this light-weight, sturdy fiberglass ladder.

Nothing against Werner but Lowes flim-flammed me and 2 months later I still have no ladder. Delivery dropped the wrong stuff on my porch, took a picture then came back and got the stuff without leaving me my ladder. Then they marked it as delivered. After several long phone calls I got a refund but I wanted my ladder. is that too much to ask,
