Would RecommendI have always purchased inexpensive grills in the past, a friend of mine who owns the store that I purchased the grill from has been hounding me for years to buy a Weber. I chalked it up to a “sales pitch” I finally bit the bullet and bought a Weber Genesis grill. I will NEVER go back to anything else. Someone may even confuse me for a good cook now. The grill is awesome! Quality does make a difference.

Decent grill, not as robust as past models.
Would RecommendDecent grill. Cutting corners to shave costs is obvious when comparing to older grills. Initial performance is good, but I don't expect that to continue for more than a couple of years.

A fresh update to the old Genesis.
Would RecommendThis is my second Genesis, replacing one that was in desperate need of retirement after 17 years of hard use. So far, it works great! I like the new propane level indicator visible from the outside. I also appreciate the controls on the front, freeing up the space on the right side for plates, tools, etc. It heats up quicker than my old one, but seems to burn less gas which is a huge plus! At a month old, it is still too early in its life for a meaningful review concerning durability.
