Good Flex

Good value, self-contained option for home DIY.

Easy to use

Very straight forward to set up and use. Biggest thing to get used to is your hand movement. It does take practice I wish the air intake filter was located on the outside of the unit. It would be easier to get out and there would be less dust and urethane mist getting into the storage unit.

Excellent sprayer for detail finish

Bought this to spray DIY cabinets and furniture. Professional finish, light weight, easy to use! Well worth it.

Perfect for big and small jobs.

I bought the sprayer a month ago and have been painting a 3 bedroom townhouse. It has been great. Trim, baseboards, ceiling and walls have been way easier and have saved many hours in time using the sprayer.

Makes jobs easy!

I purchased the FLEXIO 5000 after having some bad experiences with other painters in the past. The FLEXIO has been a great tool and has made my small jobs easier to do. It has cut my time in half and the easy cleanup makes it even better.

Works great!

So far it's working great. I considered a more professional system, but the cleaup on thiose things are terrible. The Flexio 5000 is really easy to clean. I used the fine finish gun (it comes with two guns), with Sherman Williams Gallery paint on my kitchen cabinets. They look great. The Gallery paint is already thinned for use in HVLP gun. It's very expensive, but a perfect match for this system.

Awesome sprayer

First of all I need to say I hate to paint. I’ve tried other sprayers, rollers, brushes…and I decided to try the flexio 5000. I am so happy I did. Actually read the directions, followed them and went to work. Incredible results and so little time and that includes the cleanup. The only way it could have been easier is if I just sat and watched someone else do it. If you are on the fence about this, just go get one. You’ll never look back and maybe never grab a brush again!

Great Sprayer Value for Money

I bought this about a month ago to spray paint some furniture. It was easy to set up and after playing around to thin the paint properly and adjust the air flow, the spray quality was excellent. I was able to spray the pieces well quickly and achieve a uniform finish. The sprayer was really easy to clean for the next coat. I also love how everything fits into what is essentially the base of the sprayer for easy storage. This was a great purchase for me.

Capability Misrepresented

I purchased the Flexio 5000 specifically for a crib project I was building for our first grandchild. The non-toxic crib paint specifically instructed not to thin the paint. Since the Flexio 5000 has this line in the documentation "It has the flexibility to spray indoors and out with the power to spray unthinned latex paint and stains with full coverage" I purchased the sprayer. Neither one of the guns would spray the paint properly. I ended up with spatters and what looked like a popcorn ce...

I recently purchased the Flexio 5000 for both outside and furniture spraying. It has provided great results. Check out some of the many videos online for suggestions. My input is get a measuring cup. The 2 or 3 paints I have used are water based and work better with a 5-10% dilution. Also get a viscosity checking cup. After 10% dilution the time to empty the viscosity cup went from a minute to just under 30 seconds. It sprays much better after diluting. I have successfully sprayed several cabin...

Great Sprayer

Just did March 2025 my kitchen cabinets and they are looking professionally done. Used the detail gun and have to add 10% of water to make it perfect which was recommended on wagner instructions. Did also oil base primer. Clean up easy if you take the time , half hour to do it properly.

Great product….but there is a learning curve

I bought the Flexio 5000 to help me paint the entire inside of the house. I watched several videos and payed close attention to the tips and suggestions. Thinning the paint is a must and using Flotrol is a must for doing wood trim. With time I know I’ll get better. Keeping air on high and adjusting the paint flow are key. Just have to work on my overlapping for the walls. Over all very happy with the unit.

Great unit

I bought this Wagner sprayer as my 20 year old Wagner had pretty much given up the ghost. It's a really great unit and it's especially nice that the "gun" and the power unit are separate. It allows you to spray above you when doing ceilings. So far I've only used it with thinned exterior latex, but I'm confident it will work well with other paints.

Nice

Bought to paint some doors. Have only used once. Worked well. Wish box it is stored in was a bit bigger. Once you take it out, cannot get the lid to shut again.

Flexio 5000 .....Two days using my first spray gun

Painted a stairwell to the basement plus walls and drop ceiling in our 34' rec room. Surface prep, hanging plastic, covering flooring and whatever you leave in the room is pretty time consuming. Read the manual 3 or 4 times. It's a big deal. YouTube videos are helpful for learning and procedures...like cleaning. I primed and painted all surfaces with latex products. I bought this product .. at first was not happy planed on taking it back, but I reread the instructions my bad. I painted three cabinets they look good even my daughter was impressed . the cabinets were a sage green now they are oat white also dark blue. I impressed myself

Stop Brushing, Start Spraying

I've built many projects over the years from furniture to built ins. When I've painted those items, I went with a brush, and while OK, I can't say I was completly satisfied having spent so much effort in the build to only be OK with the final result. I thought about spraying, but did not like the cans, and did not want to spend money on an expensive spray system. I found several YouTube videos of pros and DIY using the Flexio 5000 and I tried it.
