Spraying thick paint.

As long as your paint isn't thick, It works fine. If your paint is a little thick ( OIL BASE ) it will either splatter all over, or won't paint at all.

I have to admit that after reading some previous reviews, I was skeptical. Does the job well but be prepared to clean often

I used this to paint lattice under my deck. If your painting lattice this is a must. It worked very well but as you get into about 40 minutes the nozzle clogs. You need to take a tooth brush and just brush it as you go. Its no big deal and it would be near impossible to keep a sprayer from fully gumming up. Make sure you clean it well after use and for all things that are good do not tilt it downward or upward. It is designed to only go left to right or up and down.

Great machine, lousy qaulity

Paint sprayer is good and works a good job with doing stain but unfortunately the trigger that adjusts the volume of stain is cheap plastic threaded piece that's installed so loosely that the vibration of the machine loosens it up and several times during my paint job it kept falling out. Until the last one when the spring that holds it in came out and got lost

Simple to use and well worth the money

My first time painting with a sprayer and it was super easy. Simple intuitive design and very simple control functions for the spray area and volume of paint. there are little catches with the design when you run low on paint in the can where it sputters so keep topping off the paint as you go and it will be no problem. VERY happy with the tool. I did a board and batten wall where I would have had to cut in a ton of lines and this eliminated that. I did about 400 sq ft in 45 minutes total. ...

Great sprayer for small projects

I purchased this sprayer to paint furniture. It is very easy to set up and clean. I have used it to paint end tables, chairs, and desks. I really enjoy using this sprayer and cannot wait to use it for my next project!

probably not great to use on a large paint job

Easy to use (read instructions 1st!), not fun to clean up.

I'd rather use a roller.

This may work better for smaller projects like furniture, but I was painting walls and ceiling of a room and it was no faster, a lot messier, and it kept blowing the blue tape and plastic off. I had to refill so many times the spread was not wide. This was my first paint sprayer, so maybe I just had high expectations, but I was definitely disappointed.

This sprayer did such a nice job on porch metal fence that when the job was finished i didn’t want to stop!
