OK for primer

This product is fine for primer/sealer, but doesn't have enough pigment to be called paint. I'd call it whitewash. I hope the binder will be sufficient.

Inferior.

I found this to be thin, watery, and transparent. Three applications to new stucco exterior did not hide the stucco. Kilz is far superior and more economical because it's one coat and done.

Kind of Watery

This primer does dry, but it is also watery. More like a water-proofer. But most water-proofers are clear so you don't see the drips.... Not sure I like this paint, but it is cheap. Hopefully it does what it says. It is nice to see the coverage, just expect to catch some drips.....

Valspar primer not as good as Sherwin William quic

I used ten gallons of this and then ran out. Since I had helper’s and didn’t want to lose them I rushed to Sherwood William to quickly pick up some more primer. Although a little more expensive their primer covered a whole lot better then the Valspar. We went ahead and went over the Valspar with the Williams primer. . I did purchase ten more gals of Valspar later to primer other areas that aren’t important enough to spend extra money on.

Just open it and use, nothing to add or mix, just a quick stir ad ready to use... Went on nice and easy with one coat but we waited about 2 hours and did a second coat just for safe measures the quality was perfect, nice consistency, not runny or watery looking!! Very happy and pleased with the resu...

Easy applic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works great for priming the mortar. We did this on a retaining wall that was getting discolored. Application was easy. Easy to see any missed spots. Makes paint go on so easy.
