Great coverage, No drips

We bought 3 cans of color 85026 satin a few years ago. We used one and a half cans of paint immediately. Last week we used the other half of the can and the other whole can. They still sprayed and performed like the day we purchased them. I wish we could buy more to finish our project. I can't find a dealer near me that sells Valspar Spray Enamel. What happened?

Nice color, bad sprayer

I bought this over the weekend to refinish a mirror. Came out beautiful, but the prayer literally took two hands to press the trigger! Terrible design, amazing paint.

Comfort spray is terrible

This "comfort spray" is not for anyone with grip problems or who doesn't have strong hands. I have to use 2 fingers and 2 hands to get this to spray. The finish is nice but certainly not worth the pain in my hands. I did call a Valspar rep to see if I count remove this feature but there is no way. I'm going to have to wait for my husband to come home to have him finish up the project. I gave this a 1 star because if you can't spray the paint you cannot use the produce

Good Color Options

I was so excited to buy this paint! It is a beautiful color! However, I can’t seem to open it?!?! My hand is red after half an hour of attempting to open it.

Khaki flat AR rifle paint

Finished an upper and a buttstock in khaki flat to try to resemble the magpul flat dark earth. This is an excellent match I’m sure not many are aware of. In terms of the spray can itself, I’m not sure where all these complaints are coming from. The paint went on easy, even, and thoroughly. Peehaps people aren’t using care and technique but this paint gets a full 5 stars. My go to for FDE painting of my AR rifles.

Good color range

I searched everywhere for a warm gray color. The 84201 Rugged Suede was exactly what I was looking for. I have used rattle cans from all different brands for 40+ years. This paint went on smooth and consistent, with only a few spatters. Dried in a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend it. As with all rattle spray paints, don't be a pansy, shake well for 3-4 minutes for best results, and shake again after 30 seconds of spraying. Wipe nozzle with a rag every few minutes.

Hard to spray

Bought three cans to do my project, when starting the project I thought maybe it was just a flaw in that can, went ahead and did the second can...kinda. It is so hard to spray, I have to hold down the button with my thumbs. I will never buy this kind of can again. Very disappointed.

Nozzle is garbage.....

Safety lock nozzle design needs some work. Even when cleaned the spray nozzle is terrible. Better yet to just go back to the old style.

Worst spray can

I bought Valspar Color Radiance # 84510 flat white paint + primer at Lowes on March 10, 2017. I followed directions, shaking the can for about a minute and then rotating the white twist cap clockwise 'til it clicked open. Not only could I not depress the gray trigger with my index finger, it required both thumbs to depress the trigger to release the paint. My left thumb slipped and this broke my thumb nail on the trigger/cap. Also, the paint spatter on my hands was beyond what I'd experienced. T...

Disappointed!

Followed instructions on the can....re required length of time to shake etc. Sprayed first coat with no trouble. After 30 mins or so tried to apply second coat!! The paint would not spray at all!! Shook tin again but still no paint would spray!! Got husband to try and sort problem!! No success! I am left with half a tin of paint that I cannot access!!! G

Spits a lot

I used a can of Satin Whipped Apricot today, 85009, 7191524405,15197, 02411. The first coat I sprayed went on fine, laid down nice. During the second coat I noticed Than small drops were being spit out. After I inspected the can I noticed that the droplets were being caused by that ridiculous top that is on the can. What a waste. valspar micromist

Bought 3 cans of yellow, the first sprayed and dripped all over project totally ruining it. After striping that off and repriming - with different can of paint,same results How can you sell such a nasty spray nozzle!

Best Spray Paint EVER

I 've been using the micromist premium Valspar spray paint on all my wood restoration projects and can't even begin to tell you what a beautiful finish I've ALWAYS gotten. I'm horrified that I'm not able to find it on the shelves any longer. It's the first spray paint that has consistently given me a flawless finish. I have several pictures to share but for some reason this site isn't able to add them? Right size and file type, but....

Uneven coverage

Painting a wood bookcase 6" tall 30" wide and 15" deep with 4 shelves I used 1 can of micromist secluded garden with terrible coverage.I then read all the bad reviews of micromist so switched to paint plus primer destiny and used 7 cans always applying thin coats but the final result is still uneven glossy and non-glossy streaks. I am going to have to sand the entire bookcase and start over. Should have just bought a new bookcase.

NEVER dries

Used once. Never, and literally mean NEVER cures. Horrible product.

Does Not Dry, EVER!

I bought a can of the metallic brilliant effects silver spray to redo a view pieces of plastic from my car. I did everything by the book, and I mean I am meticulous . I sanded down the rails, cleaned them thoroughly, scuffed up the surface, primed, sanded the prime, heavy coat primer, dried....then the nightmare began. I am a very experienced painter, and I've never seen paint that refuses to dry like this paint! The extremely light coats will dry, but leave a rigid surface. Even if you go a bit...

nice coverage-shines

Valspar has a nice spray tip that does a very nice job covering without running.The only trouble I had. I was painting a small metal child's wagon. I had the wagon disassembled, horizontal ,suspended-sitting on dowel posts through holes in the base. rubs off even after dry

I bought the metalic gold color after hearing some good reviews on it. be warned that the color is not the same as what is shown or expected. the gold is more of a bronze than a yellow gold. that wasn't my issue though. i followed the directions and did 3 thin coats waiting for it to dry in between. the spray was easy to use and dried fairly quickly. however, even after waiting 3 days the paint rubbed off on whatever brushed it. it scratches off very quickly as well. it leave a light sheen of sp...

I drive a tow truck and when the bed gets scratched I fix it with the high gloss black, matches perfectly to the original paint job!
