SO MAD THEY STOPPED SELLING IT

This is the only decent silver spray paint my husband and I have ever used. The Rustoleum silvers are garbage and not shiny enough, they all look like gray with glitter. So mad we cant find this anywhere anymore!

I sprayed this paint on a cast metal base for a lamp. After priming, it this paint worked very wellbob

Love it

Do dripping, dries fast, and looks great. I just used it today. On my way to purchase 2 more.

When will it dry!?

Painted some metal purse hardware. Gorgeous color... But it's still not dry, I've messed up nearly every piece I painted because I tried to pick them up over an hour later. At this point it's been over 2 hours and the paint it still soft. I thought dry to touch meant it wouldn't smudge or leave finger prints on the project... Guess not. All I can do is hope that it's better tomorrow.

Not like the cap

The cap is a chrome like shine. The paint comes out in a dull gray color. Looks a bit like pewter...ugly. I ruined a perfectly good glass vase with it. I returned the paint but the vase is trashed.

Nozzle leaks badly on all valspar spray cans

Nozzle POURED excess paint out around the stem and top of can. Not a broken cap, just bad engineering design. Do not buy!

Valspar Metalic Paint

The can I purchased ended up actually being more of a bronze color instead of gold. It still worked for my purposes, but could have been a real disappointment. I have used the chrome color before, and it was fantastic.

The spray head leaked, a defective/poor design.

While pushing down the spray head, paint leaked out of the bottom of the spray head resulting in getting my gloved hand sprayed with paint. Pushed the head down hard thinking that it was loose didn't correct the problem.

Great Paint

We used it on some Christmas figures and it made them look like they were chrome.

doesn't dry

Don't use this on wood because it doesn't dry. Its been over a month and the paint comes right onto my hand. Ridiculous.

Does the job

It is colored metallic silver, and once you spray it on a surface, it totally resembles smooth aluminum foil. We used this to spray paint my son's costume --- he went as a gilded silver statue. The surface remains glossy, metallic, and looks totally like it was dipped in silver. It adheres to the sprayed surface really well and quickly too. I would buy this again.

paint poured all over me

After shaking the can for 2 minutes I pressed the nozzle and paint poured out all over the can and my hands. What a bad product.

Don’t buy this

Nozzle was faulty and spewed paint all over my hand.

Silver powder rubs off

Looks beautiful very metallic looking silver..but the gray residue will rub off on your fingers and whatever you are painting it on. Tried to paint metallic accents on a white vanity and theres prints every where. Sealed it with polycrylic and that worked but it took away from the shiny metallic look...but it doesnt smudge anymore. :/

Nice color, BUT

Bought this to spray pumpkins. The color is great, but I’ve never used spray paint that was so messy! Need to get some gloves.

MESSY to use - poorly designed nozzle

The color is more of a bronzey rose gold than a bright yellow gold like the cap. The paint sprayed on fairly evenly but it dripped all down the side of the can so that I can no longer read the label, which could be a safety hazard. Paint dripped all over my hand and fingers, plus there are huge drops of paint all around the item that I painted. What a mess!! This has to be the most poorly designed spray can ever made.

HARD PAINT TO DEAL WITH

I USUALLY USE A SPRAY GUN WITH CANNED SPRAY PAINT BUT THIS BRAND DIDN'T HAVE A SPRAY NOZZLE THAT WOULD ACCOMMODATE THE SPRAY GUN. KRYLON WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER BUY BUT LOWE'S DIDN'T HAVE IT IN STOCK IN THE GOLD COLOR I WAS LOOKING FOR. ALSO, VALSPAR DIDN'T GIVE MUCH COVERAGE AND CLEAN-UP WAS A MESS.

Did not spray- it says drip less, that part of the label was covered in the paint that ran out. What a mess!
