I have been using this shower panel for two months and I love it. I looked at many shower panels before deciding on this one, the build quality is great (others used thinner sheet metal and felt bit flimsy). The hand held shower is metal compared to majority that I saw which had plastic hand held shower. Installation was simple/easy. The water pressure was lower for my liking, and I reached out to Vigo (manufacturer) and they right away sent me a water restrictor of 2.8 gallon/min (Original was ...

Great looking shower panel

In the winter of 2021 I purchased 2 of these units and another different Vigo unit. The higher end unit has a lot higher water pressure compared to the Mateo units. I was hoping the Mateo would be the same as the other unit. One Mateo unit no longer allows the controlling of hot and cold water. Water seems to always be cool but not cold.

Beautiful Shower Fixture with Easy Installation

I’m very pleased with the shower and its functions. The installation was much easier than anticipated, however, I turned to YT to determine how to properly adjust water temperature, due to not being able to locate the how-to in the instructions. Otherwise, I am pleased.

Beautiful and functional

This is the second one we’ve purchased. Literally wore out the first one. Loved it so much we replaced it with the exact same thing! We have hard water which ruined the first one. We now have a water softener. Look forward to many years of wonderful spa showers

Great Product

Had to remove the flow restrictors to get better pressure. The restrictors are a California law.

Not necessarily for short people

Unit was relatively easy to install with minimal help from my wife. The only caveat we have is my wife is 5’2” and even at the lowest we could position it, the sprayer hit my wife in the face. Otherwise the rain shower head and sprayer are fantastic!

LOVE

Love it! There's a part that controls the flow volume (for California) remove it, and you'll have great water pressure. When all are on, obviously the pressure is lower, but I love it. It's in my guest bathroom and family races about it when visiting.

Seems like a good solid product

Just installed the shower panel. It is made of a good gauge of stainless steel so it seems to be solid. Only issues I have: 1) the holder for the hand shower is made of plastic so it willl end up breaking. Strange since everything else is in as. 2) the flex pipes from the unit have a female end instead of the standard male end. That means that you have to use a connector between those flex pipes and the flex pipes that hook up to your copper pipes. The rest looks good.

The column replace the one from an in-store brand which died just short of 3 years of installation. I had the guy who install the original one install this one. Biggest installation issue is that there is no template on where to drill holes into the wall. The guy tried to use the same holes as the old one but they didn't match up well. Only other issue was that it would of been a better replacement if the holster for the wand was attached to the column like the old one. Instead 2 more holes n...

Amazing Product

This shower system delivers! My plumber said that it was very well made and relatively easy to install. After we replaced the aerators with the 1.8gpm ones we can now experience the rain shower and massage jets at the same time, which makes it hard to get out and go to work. We have loved all of the Vigo products purchased for our new bathroom, and we will never go back to a regular shower head.

After 5 years we finally pulled the trigger on our bathroom remodel, the shower panel was or first purchase as we compiled the components. Now that it’s in I’m amazed at the luxurious feel of the different sprayers which can be used in different combinations. A shower panel is a GREAT way to get high end features at a reasonable cost.
