Motor casing hot after a few hours running.

Fan was reasonably uncomplicated to put together. Seems to really put out some air flow. My only concern is that the motor seems to always run hot. Outside casing is too hot to touch after running for a few hours. Not sure if that is normal or not? I am using it in a barn so that is a bit concerning to me.

Damaged box, late delivery

Delivery was over a week late and box was torn and demolished at ends- looked like a used product. Sent back item due to late delivery and condition of box. Very disappointed!

Poor Packaging Condition

Three of four boxes were smashed and retaped, with one using cut out cardboard pieces to cover the holes in the box. They’ve been in a warehouse in storage for some time, as they were faded and outdated product branding vs. one box. Fan shroud was bent on two fans. Had to straighten out to prevent fan blades from hitting. Shipping notifications gave the impression of receiving the entire order when fans came in three separate deliveries. Very confusing.

They Only Sell Two Replacement Parts for This Fan

We have two of these. On one the oscillating arm kept coming loose so I had to come up with a fix so the fan will oscillate. The same fan the pull chain quit working so we used the GFCI switch to turn it on and off. Now that quick working. I called Lowes and they only have the capacitor for the blades and the pull chain as replacement parts and they're out of stock on those. There is no parts list or one available per Lowes. Took at least an hour to assemble and instructions in places were vague (like which direction the fan blades should go on the bar). Difficult to close the fan shield clasps. Turned on and worked. Next time I turned it on it did not oscillate and motor became very hot...fan blades were not blocked. Very heavy and hard to get into my truck bed for return. Wasted my afternoon! In my younger years, did we have to assemble these 'big guys' ourselves??

I'M DEFINITELY A FAN!

So the fan puts out incredible airflow. Got this because I'm cleaning out my father's garage which has no ventilation and couldn't be happier with the way it cools everything down. My only gripe would be that it is hard to move around so unless you've got someone to do that for you you're pretty much going to be stuck with it where it is when you set it up but overall I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars.
