What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the intense brightness and straightforward installation, with many highlighting excellent illumination and minimal setup effort. However, significant concerns temper satisfaction: the motion sensor frequently fails or detects motion only within 10-15 feet, the dual heads cannot angle sufficiently outward, and durability issues including water intrusion and electrical failure within months are common complaints. While brightness and ease of installation earn consistent recognition, recurring sensor unreliability and mounting limitations substantially impact overall customer confidence in the product's long-term performance.

Would Not RecommendInstalled one of these on my pole barn 6 months ago. It has now ceased to work. Supposedly warranted for 5 years....yea right! Now I'm struggling trying to return this worthless piece of garbage.
Great when it works......
Would Not RecommendBright light with good range of motion detection. Unfortunately it does not work very often. Mostly comes on when triggered by motion sensor and flashes. Sometimes it flashes quickly and sometimes more slowly. Occasionally, the light stays on like it is supposed to do, but that does not happen very often. Getting ready to replace it with something else. I would not recommend this item or purchase it again.
Works Perfectly After 14 Months!
Would RecommendInstalled on 9-24-16 and still working 100% as of 11-28-17. No problems installing under the eave AT ALL. Be advised, this is NOT a 1,000-watt Metal Halide light with 110,000 lumens that you probably see at car dealerships; rather, it is simply two 23-watt LED arrays with 2,000 lumens that are the equivalent to approximately two 75-100 watt incandescent bulbs. Personally, I would agree that this item is a bit pricey but the longevity and other features makes this an OK purchase. After over a yea...

Lasted a month
Would Not RecommendSame as most of the other reviews here. Lights are bright and very blue - 5000k indeed! Worked for a month, then the electric eye failed - lights would stay on all night. I'll probably re-install in a location where it is operated only by a switch.

Disappointing; not worth the trouble
Would Not RecommendLike others have said, the light worked great, but only for a short while. We had a thunderstorm with some small hail, and afterwards the light would buzz very loudly when it came on. There is no visible sign of damage, so I don't think the hail caused the problem (but I'm not an electrician so I can't say for sure). In any case, the light is now useless, even though we have used it for less than a year, and I'll have to replace it. I guess that's why they have it marked down to less than 50...

Nice and Bright
Would RecommendIt was relatively easy to install. The lights are SUPER bright, perfect for their intended use. Only 4 starts because the wires like to fall out of the clips they are in and it does not sit nicely against the house siding.

Terrible
Would Not RecommendLasted less than 6 months and just stopped working. it is in a very high wall on the side of my house and the ladder is high, it was installed professionally and now we have to troubleshoot as to why it does not work, the power is good, I think the sensor must have gone like another one that I bought and replaced the sensor. I will buy another brand hoping that it will last a few years instead of 3 months.

Avoid this Manufactuer
Would Not RecommendSorry to say, but I have tried to make there outdoor products work and have exchanged some and tossed some away. They look great and install pretty neat but they leak. Period. They are not for the outdoors.

Not durable.
The lights are very bright and installation was easy. However the light stopped working within the first year. Save your money and skip this item.
Disappointed..
Would Not RecommendWe had utilitec 3 light unit...loved it...but lights began dying at 5 year warranty limit...not account available now.this one is pitiful...does not cover area or work well. Really disappointed...
Garbage
Would Not RecommendBought two of these lights 11 months ago. One stopped working within 30 days. Took it back and got a replacement. Replacement light died a month ago and the other followed 20 days later. I took them both back and made them give me my money back. I have never seen a bigger piece of garbage than these lights. When almost every review is bad it seems corporate would get the hint and stop selling them.
Complete Garbage
Would Not RecommendBought the light for $69 and it stopped working after only a week. The light does come on but it does so constantly at random. Even with the sensitivity of the mention sensor set to its lowest setting the light comes on all the time for no apparent reason. There are no bushes or trees, water or excessive wild life to trigger it either. Worst purchase ever!
Motion sensor doesn't work properly
I bought two of these and neither would work with 70 ft. Sensitivity. It's more like 10 ft, one doesn't work at all.

Lights got water in them stopped working within a
Would Not RecommendNot happy water filled in one light. Will be returning
Terrible product
Would Not RecommendHad to return the first one as it quickly filled with water after the first rain. Luckily, it was shortly after I purchased and and Lowes was kind enough to let me trade it for another one. After a few days, the light would blink on and off all night and there wasn't anything tripping off the motion sensor. We tried adjusting it and even moved it to a different spot. Same problem. After reading some of these reviews, I would avoid this companies products at all costs.
Light won't stay on for any length of time
Would Not RecommendI had the contractor install this light on my garage. The good: It is the brightest security light I have ever seen. The bad: Unfortunately, the back yard looked like a disco, as the light never stayed on more than 5 seconds, no matter the setting. I tried flipping the switch off and on to reset it. No luck. I angled down the sensor and cleaned the lens, and tried all the timed settings, just in case there was something triggering it to turn off so quickly. Nothing worked. The contractor moved...

Not a good buy!!!!
Purchased this light 6 months ago. Worked fine and gave me the coverage I was seeking for my driveway. Unfortunately it does not work anymore and have tried reset. Sensor detects but light will not come.

Junk light failed after four months
Would Not RecommendMounted this light under the eave, but with very limited adjustability. After four months the leds only light up dimly, offering no illumination. This is my second Utilitech outdoor light and both failed too soon.
