Easy to install LED lights
Would RecommendI love these easy to install LED Recessed down lights. The only reason I did not give it a full 5 stars is that I found out that there are other ones that you can set the color of the light bulb too. However, these are easy to install and dimmable. The hardest part of The Who install ( and I did 18 lights) was to remove the old canister cover. I had to adjust the light bulb socket up by loosing the wing nut and then tightening it. Only lasted 5 Years
Would Not RecommendWe purchased these lights for our kitchen remodel. The dimmer issues are there, but it was not an issue since we do not dim them very often. Now 5 years later 2 of the 6 have burned out. They claim 35,000 hours of maintenance-free operation. Well if I estimate high and say 5 hours a day, 365 days a year for 5 years I get just under 10,000 hours. Less than 1/3 of the claimed life of the light and 2 of the 6 have failed. But good luck returning them after 5 years.
