Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The LED light bulbs offer bright, daylight-like illumination and energy efficiency, but have inconsistent reliability and lifespan. While some customers were satisfied with the performance, a significant number reported premature failures, with up to 50% of the bulbs failing within the first year. Common issues included short lifespan, flickering, and dimming. The overall consensus is that the product provides good value when functioning as expected, but the quality control and durability are inconsistent.

Would Not RecommendThey look fine at first but after a couple short years mine list their color first, then some started flickering. Other brands are doing fine. Utilitech did not last any where remotely close to what they claimed, leaving me feeling ripped off.
Replaced 2xs in a year (hallway)!
Would Not RecommendThese bulbs are terrible. I'm going to kill myself changing these. I had hoped that I could find a long lasting bulb. I can't keep pulling the mini ladder out to change a bulb that is not on all of the time.
Worst light bulb ever
Would Not RecommendI bought over 60 of utilitech 750 lumens light bulbs from Lowes and installed these throughout of my house about two years ago. it claimed that the bulb will last 20 years. I have to replaced these light bulbs start over a year ago. today, two last bulbs were dead and replaced with other brand. this is the simple worst product I ever bought from Lowes.
They don't last
Would Not RecommendWe decided to change all our bulbs to LED, two years ago, at the beginning we had one little twinkle, twinkle, little star How I wonder what you are Up above the world so one didn't bother to go deal with the burden to go get them exchange, but now its like a freaking disco all over the house, well Im returning them all, they have three year warranty, that is what the box says!! what a piece of china made crap

started flickering in 6 months
Would Not RecommendI replaced many bulbs at once with these and one by one they started flickering after 6 months. Within a year, I had to replace all of them. Obviously, I went with a name brand this time around.
Junk
Would Not RecommendWhile building our house I was in Lowe's and saw they had 6 packs of these bulbs on sale for like $6.48 and I regretfully loaded up on them. I think I purchased about 12 boxes and put them throughout out the house. The package touts a lifespan of up to 10 years but I haven't been in the house 10 months and I'm replacing 1 or 2 bulbs a week now because they start flickering.

All dead within 1 year
Would Not RecommendNot much else to say other than all of the bulbs had died within less than 1 year in their light fixtures. Would not recommend these at all, despite the good rating here.
They were cheap. Guess why.
Would Not RecommendBought 6 pack and installed in 3 brand new ceiling fixtures in newly remodeled and wired kitchen 4 months ago. 4 have failed. They flicker awhile then fail to light number 5 is starting to flicker.
Didn't last as long as I thought
I thought LED's were supposed to last at least several years, especially for what you pay for them. This one was in a high use area, that is difficult to get to. It lasted exactly one year. I was a little disappointed in the performance, and will seek a different brand
Never again
Would Not RecommendI've purchased multiple products that were made by Utilitech and will never buy anything from them again. Puck lights in the kitchen and now these light bulbs. The puck lights lasted about a year and these lasted about a month. Stay away from this company products.
Great!
Would RecommendFor the money...you can't beat these LED bulbs. I have been going through my mothers house and trying to replace all her old incandescents for LED's. She is afraid to turn the lights on because of...energy cost. These LED's should be the ticket to very slightly lower her energy bill. A little goes along ways, Right?

Lights will begin to flicker/strobe after a year
Would Not RecommendBought these lights to replace throughout my home...they claim they will last about 4.57* years, I only got a little over a year out of them before they began to flicker/strobe.
Led light cool (not warm)
Would RecommendMy house is a dark house and I wasn't sure if i wanted to get cool or warm led lights so i decided to get what i think my wife would want; the cool ones. The area of the house i put the lights in seems alot brighter. If you don't like the cold look in a Doctor exam room you may wanna go for a warmer bulb.

Burn out quickly
Would Not RecommendI have purchased over 15 of these bulbs and 20% of them start flickering or burn out in less than 6 months, 70% of them start flickering or burn out within a year, and the other 10% are still going. I will never buy another utilitech LED.
About a 25% failure rate within weeks
Would Not RecommendWe put these throughout our house and in parent's house. Failure both places. Three in one ceiling fan.
Good bulb
Would RecommendFound these on clearance, and seem to be a good bulb. Very bright.
