not sure if price is worth it
Would Not RecommendNot sure if the cost is worth it. We have been putting it on the inside of our basement walls, am wondering if it is designed to go on the outside-- but they are under dirt. Not really sure how well it works as its been a very dry year. It is very thick and 1 gal doesn't go very far at all. So in a relatively small area-- have used atleast 4 gal.

works great but stinks
Would RecommendThe basement wall is cinderblock and it works well. I've painted professionally before so I know to use a thick nap roller, go slower and do proper prep before painting. It does stink though (VOC). If you leave brushes in water overnight it will almost smell like sewage in the AM. I wouldn't do it at a customer's house, but it was my basement and I was just going to continue painting after I got up.

Reliable product
Would RecommendI have used Drylok on my basement walls 20 years ago where there were signs of efflorescence and dampness. With the exception of a one square foot area where the efflorescence returned the product has performed as claimed. I recently used the new DryLok Extreme in an adjacent garage foundation wall where I had running water each time it rained. After one coat all the water leaks have stopped, even though we have had considerable rain. I plan to apply the second coat as instructed soon.
