Buy this one (No regrets}

I bought this wheelbarrow 5 years ago. I just bought another one because I needed two. On my farm I have sandy soil so a single wheel wheelbarrow does not move well over the terrain. Even my wife can use this one when it is full. The plastic tub has proven to be quite durable. I am happy that I have two because I can move more material. This was a good buy.

A bit disappointed

I bought one of these years and years ago, the handles finally rotted at the bottom by the wheels. We put tubes in the tires and it hauled a lot of very heavy materials, concrete, rocks, sand and tons of yard debris. I never had trouble with the tub. The time came to buy a new one and of course I went back and bought another one of these because I was so please with the last one. That is not the case this time. Double wheels make moving large loads easier

I really like this wheelbarrow because its two-wheel set-up means no more spills from tipping. At 78 years old this keeps me able to complete outside projects for which I'd otherwise need to hire help. It's also nearly rust-proof, and able to be outside all winter without a problem.

Not new

I ordered new wheelbarrow, did not pay for assembly. The one hey sent was already assembled and had obviously been sitting outside for an extended amount of time. The handles are weathered, he metal has rust and the wheels are flat.

replacement parts

do not buy this wheelbarrow if you ever intend to maintain it. I bought mine last year and loved it until today. one of the brackets broke. no biggie right? wrong. all other brackets do not fix due to spacing btwn holes. so I called Ames directly and they do not sell parts. I was told I have to buy a whole new one. THEY ARE NOT CHEAP. I am now out a wheelbarrow with no intention of buying a new one. if anyone knows different I would love to know. I did curbside pickup for the first time…it was quick and the young lady was friendly and courteous. Another employee was leaving work and as she walked by she stopped and help get wheelbarrow in back of my Rogue sport….great teamwork!

Winner with the in-laws

Purchased this for my father in law. He immediately loved it as he had to move top soil into his yard. He loved the size of the loader and stability of the two wheels. He also loved plastic / composite bucket as it’s less likely to rust.

Tub cracks easily

Don't set a 30 pound chunk of concrete in this to hard as it will crack the bottom. Next spring going to replace the whole thing with a steel wheelbarrow. Should have done that from the git go
