It offers convenient features like electric start, power steering, heated handles, and electric chute control that make the snow blowing process easier. Would RecommendTwo stage blowers are not as effective as three stage, especially for heavy snows. Under light fluffy snow, the snow can be sent 20 feet, but much shorter distances for heavy snow. The chute is cumbersome to operate. The design is mediocre. The shear pins will snap if you hit a branch buried in the snow or a rock that may have rolled onto the driveway. For the money, it's pretty good. I regret not spending more.
This thing is a Beast!!
Would RecommendThis snowblower is awesome, I get my driveway done in about 30 minutes and it’s a 5 car driveway. It user friendly with the electric start, turning levers, joystick to control the chute, and the headlight is ideal for the dark wintry months. It handles ice buildup well and goes through basically anything. Makes life a lot easier. The heated hand grips are nice up to a certain point because they can get really hot. It was a perfect purchase.

The absolute best!!!!
Would RecommendI have this 10 years and it’s starts and runs like the first day. I have a 200+ foot driveway and it handles any storm and we have storms that can drop 4’ of snow. I have not spent a dime on it other then to change oil or spark plug. What a product!

Good value
Would RecommendThe snow thrower is powerful enough to clear my large (36x100ft) driveway. It starts very easily I have not used the electric start. It starts with one or two pulls. The hand controls are easy to operate. It did take some getting used too to control it.

Snow Thrower is great!
Would RecommendI have owned the Storm 3090 for 4 years. It replaced a Troy Bilt 26" Thrower. Please with all of your products.

Michigan Winter Stamp of Approval
Would RecommendJust bought this beast of a snow blower and because I live in Michigan I was able to use it on the very day I picked it up, March 8th. I have a 750' driveway and cleared six inches of snow mixed with ice, slush, and blowing powder. It cut through it with ease, even at the higher speeds. It threw the ice/slush/powder mixture quite far, probably would've been more if it had been dryer snow. No problems. Loved the thumb touch control for the chute's direction and angle and the turn on a dime leve...
Awesome machine!
Would RecommendReplaced a worn out mtd blower with this monster! After years of taking 2 hours of cleaning the drive way and multiple passes I can clean the drive in one pass and even have enough power to toss heavy wet snow over one midsize sedan if necessary. It does take some getting used to for the turning and chute controls, but you can move a ton of snow in a hurry once you get it!
After 5 years still running like champ
Would RecommendWe bought this snow blower in 2013 and every winter we used at least 3-4 times snow blowing our long driveway. I did not use if it it is more 6" snow fall. Instead paid $75 to get someone else to do the job. It protects me and the snow blower both!! Did not have any issue during these 5 years. Only oil change once year before storing for the next season. Very efficient and easy to handle machine.
Great machine
Would RecommendI have used the blower once and I like it. It is powerful enough to take care of my large driveway.

Great Machine
I was hesitant being a long time ariens guy. But this thing is a tank it will go through any snow or conditions no joke even better than my ariens! Only thing if I were picky is I don’t like the plastic chute, I feel like it’s just a matter of time till it cracks or breaks. Over all I’m amazed at how well it works no real disappointments here!
So Far, So Good
Would RecommendOMG, bought this beast last week and just got hit with 16” of snow on Long Island in New York. TheTroy-Bilt XP Storm 3090 snow blower was everything I expected it to be (and more). Not only did it cut through the 16” like butter (while throwing it 20-30 feet) it also went through the 30-36” pile the plow left at the end of my 70 foot, seven car driveway with very little effort. I was pleasantly surprised when I finished the whole driveway in less than an hour. After fighting and having to muscle...

Amazing Performance
Would RecommendI bought this four years ago after meticulously reviewing all of the other brands and I made the best choice ever. It starts up immediately every season using fuel stabilizer and proper maintenance. Every winter I can't for a huge snowfall to really test the power of this awesome machine and really put it thru it's paces. Well, last year my wishes came true.(HaHa) Here in the northeast part of PA we got 30" of light powder but I was out of town and couldn't get to it until 2 days later after a w...
