Satisfied, so far
Would RecommendI made my purchase 2 months ago and am very satisfied with this mower. I have mowed with it about 5 times now. Starts easy every time. Mows at a consistent speed and cuts well. The switch method from forward to reverse gear is annoying and takes awhile to become famiiar with the setup. I rated durability as 5 star but really that is an unknown after only owing for 2 months. Ask me again in 2 years.

Steering issues
Would Not RecommendThis mowers steering was poorly engineered. I have had the steering repaired twice in three years. The last time it completely went out causing me to loose total control of the mower.

I have only used this mower 5 summers. I have not even been able to mow my own lawn most of this year due to having to buy parts and replace parts. This mower is a piece of junk and if I didn't have somone who could fix it for me every time a part goes down, I would be in a mess. So far this summer Ihave replaced both pulley assemblys for the blades and the drive. Now the belts needs replacing again even thought I boutht new ones last summer. My yard is a mess and this mower is sitting in the mi...

Starts wel and runs well; some issues
The mower is easy to start and runs well. It threw a blade and messed up the point of attachment so that a new blade could not be installed without machine work. I do not like the method of shifting from neutral to forward or reverse, It is not user friendly.

Great machine for it's size. I own 5 acres and this is my workhorse, she does whatever I ask her to do, and I'm not easy on machinery. I towed brush, towed a heavy duty trailer loaded with oak fire wood up and down all over the place. She never missed a beat. The only thing I wish they would improve is the head lights, can't keep a light in it because of the vibration I suppose. The bulb falls out after a short time of use. Other than that it's a really good tractor. I've had it only about 7 mon...

Great Mower for my husband with a disability
We bought this mower because my husband needed a mower with leg controls on the left side since his right leg was removed due to a job injury. He can use the mower with no problem and it was easy for him to control. We are very happy with this mower and would recommend it to others. This mower has a reasonable price on it with a great warranty.

great
It has plenty of power and the person I dealt with was more than accommodating. I am very pleased with it. I just wished Troy Bilt had more attachments to go with it.

Worst lawm mower ever
First Troy-Bilt lawn mower I bought. I hate it. The seat is set too high and my lawn is not level so after going up hill a few times, it smokes and sound as if there is no oil in it. Taught me one thing---never buy another one

Satisfied owner
I have only used this mower 4 times and so far been very satisfied with the preformance. I have to set the cut depth lower than on my other mowers but cuts good. The speed control is different than on any of the other mowers, but I will get used to this. So far so good.

Excellent lawn mower
I had to replace my previous Troy-bilt riding lawn mower and since I love your products I bought another one - The speed control on this one takes a little time to get use to, but I think I will like this system. Very good product.

Solid Mower
Going into my 3rd season with this "Horse" Troy-built riding mower. We have appox 3/4 acre and it has some serious hills. Backyard is U shaped, sides not that steep though...more like 15 degrees on either side of the valley. This mower has tackled it every time, no problem. I worry about it lasting as hard as I have used it going up and down these hills and riding it sideways. But it runs like a champ. Time will tell but I've been very happy with this mower, owned another MTD, 42" rider with a b...

Tough choice made easy
Would RecommendI have a larger 2ac lot to mow. I considered a zero turn but really couldn't see spending so much on a single use machine, even if they built their reputation on speed. I purchased a "HORSE" riding mower/tractor and could not be happier with the purchase. It is fast, has a wide cut, and has plenty of power. It is also a hydrostatic and is very easy to run. I would absolutely recommend this machine.

Don't buy unless your yard is 100% flat and even
Would Not RecommendI bought this mower this spring because it takes me 2 hours to push mow my yard. My yard has a few hills and slopes here and there. This mower doesn't have any torque what so ever. At the slightest grade it gets stuck, it literally gets stuck on mole hills. I have to sit and rock the thing back and forth and hope it'll move. I have a slight slope to my concrete drive way and this thing has trouble going up it. There goes the plans of putting a snow plow on it..... want to use a yard cart? Hope y...

Worked good!
Would RecommendI used it for cleaning up some property, which had tall weeds and grass. It worked great for that. I didn't have any problems.

Poor durability
Would Not RecommendI was initially pleased with my purchase but I have only used this lawnmower 4 times and have already had to replace the battery and now I have to replace a tire. It appears that before it is a year old the price I have to pay for the mower will be doubled. Also, it is a shame that as I am in the navy I rely on products to last since I deploy for 6-12 months and my family has to live without me.
