I HATE TIDE PODS

I AM 83 YEARS OLD AND I HAVE USED TIDE ALL MY LIFE AND MY MOTHER USED IT. BUT NOW IT HAS CHANGED SO MUCH THAT I AM GIVING UP ON IT. IT DOSEN'T REMOVE STAINS OR TAKE THE SMELLS OUT OR GET THE CLOTHES CLEAN OR MAKE THE CLOTHS SMELL CLEAN.

Effective and convenient!

I love using these Tide laundry pods! They are so much more convenient than pouring liquid detergent and making a mess! I don't have to guess how much to pour in, I just throw 1 or 2 pods in, depending on my load size. They are so easy to store, too! They have removed some of my toughest stains off my clothes! A true staple in our home!

It is convinient to use

I am not obsessed, but still I think it is a good product.

I've been using Tide PODS for a while now and they are incredibly convenient. They always dissolve completely, even in cold water cycles, leaving no residue behind. They are also very effective at removing tough stains from my kids' clothes. I love the classic original scent; it leaves my laundry smelling fresh and clean without being overpowering. Definitely my go-to detergent.

Was my go-to detergent

Tide laundry detergent used to be my go-to for laundry before I had all these medical issues but since then I have switched to one for sensitive skin. This detergent has a nice clean smell and definitely gets the job done. My family still uses it and is pretty much all they use.

Robbed for pods

I have purchased 2x,count of 42, and both times i have found ONLY 40. Not happy about this. False advertisement! Beyond disappointment 😞.

Too much scent

Too strong of scent. It is way too much. Will not buy again. Had been buying Membersmark brand and they were out of it. Will go back to it. This Tide scent is just too much. Disappointed

A sticky mess

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried it for the first time. It did not fully dissolve and plugged the front drain in my washer. I peeled it off and I'm running a cycle without soap. I should have put on a supper glove because I now can't get the smell off my fingers. Washed my hands twice and have tried Purelle. Still smells strong. I will never again use this crap.

PODs Recurring Issue - Missing PODs in Packaging

For the second time, I have counted my PODs in my 42 pack only to find 27 inside. Last time, it was 25 and I figured it was temporary factory glitch. I am now convinced this is intentional consumer price gouging and false product advertising. I am beyond disappointed and will no longer use your product.

Best product ever

This is the best product since gain flings the quality is good for every type of wash

Changed scent- again

I have had it up to here with tide changing the scent of their products while keeping the same label. I have a lot of sensory with smells and I’ve used the tide original pods for years and loved them. They recently added “cold water clean” to the label, but no change to scent. And then with this latest batch- same labeling- they smell completely different. Somehow both more floral and acidic? It’s terrible. I’m using mountain spring powder for now but I am upset. They have done this so many ...

Too much perfume

I have been using tide original powder for 30 years been very satisfied until I decided to switch to pods original thinking is the same light fresh smell product but that was not the case, too much perfume that smells like flowers or some bathroom spray… terrible mistake by tide you have ruined your wonderful brand ..

Use Tide

I have used pods since I received my front load machines. My clothes come out clean and smell so good! I’ve tried off beat brands and they do not hold up to Tide Pods.

Change the scent back! Causing Rashes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Come on Tide! Please stop changing your product! The product smells like a cheap knock off and it’s causing me and my kids to break out in rashes! Do better and stop changing the product for the worst! Might be time to change to persil.

CHANGE THE SCENT BACK!!

Its clear from all of the reviews out there that its a big thumbs down on the scent change. Its like wearing a bottle of perfume. I just bought my first container of pods since the scent change and it is going straight back to the store. Already had to re-wash several loads with a different brand. After all these years of using Original Tide faithfully, I guess we are breaking up. PLEASE change the scent back. Seriously. Why did you think you needed to mess with it? #leaveitalone

Scent change

I have used tide Original Pods for years and just recently the smell has changed. I’m not one to leave a review, but I can’t handle the smell now. I loved it and wish they would go back to the original smell. Am I the only one who noticed a change in smell?

I’m a Tide user for over 50 years….

But not anymore. I’ve been using the pods and it is definitely convenient however I’ve had nothing but trouble with them. The first order of them were stuck together, so I ordered more and they were fine for a short time and then all stuck together again. I tried once more and they too stuck together. Package says keep them away from moisture, easy to say but hard to do after all it’sa laundry room. I’m done. You pry them apart and they go off making a heck of a mess. To me they are a pain...

Scent Has Changed

These always smelled fresh and clean and now they do not. Laundry came out smelling like it hadn’t even been washed. Used them in both cold and warm water with the same result. They will not make your laundry smell good at all.

Actually exceeded my smell test! Also cleaned very well even some stains are gone! These PODS are so easy to use and am glad to see Tide making them! Highly recommended!
