These worked where other types of traps didn't

These trip really easily and the mouse can see the bait. If you use something sticky like peanut butter you can spread it right on the trigger so it is impossible to get without springing the trap. The mouse disposal is really easy too. I had previously tried several types of traps where the mouse had to actually enter and my mice just weren't interested in those. Btw Tomcat has a money back guarantee which I used on the ones that that didn't work for me and they made it really easy and prompt.

It Works!

The wooden spring traps weren’t working. We kept finding the triggers licked clean and no mouse in the trap. I just knew there had to be a better mouse trap. This is it! Easy to set. Also bought the attractrant. Tip; add peanut butter, then put a drop of attractant on top. We caught the mouse the first night using trap! Also pet friendly. Our dog was not curious about trap. A winner!

It worked!

So I tried this trap and caught a mouse within a couple hours during daylight hours even! Here is what worked: (1) Wear gloves when you handle the trap so there is minimal human scent on it, (2) Ditch all the recommendations to use peanut butter and use popcorn instead. Just break apart one piece of popcorn and fit several of the little pieces on the bait area. Great product. We had a serious infestation of mice and put 40 Tomcats throughout our large basement. They were far more effective than our older glueboard traps and a plastic box kind of trap. They are also so easy to empty and immediately reuse without any bodily residue. We love our army of Tomcats!

Easy to set

Absolute must purchase!

Let me tell you, THESE THINGS WORK!!! And the price cannot be beat! I have bought traps in the past for 2-3 times the amount of these and they have never worked. The mouse just licks the peanut butter clean or eats all of the cheese and the trap never activates. Not a problem with these!! Snaps down perfectly on the neck and (hopefully) kills them instantly. Poor construction

Rats set off all 4 only for the trap to bounce 10 feet away. Plastic, it appears not heavy enough to trap. Also the finger test says not hard enough of a hit-bite to catch. Didn’t hurt a bit.
