What Customers Are Saying
The Tomcat Mouse Traps have received mixed reviews. Some customers report the traps effectively catching mice, while many others found them ineffective, with complaints about the mice bypassing the traps and the new design performing poorly compared to the old style. The main pros cited are the convenience and cleanliness of the contained design, while the main cons are inconsistent performance and unreliable triggering. The reviews suggest the traps may work well for some, but many customers had better luck with alternative trap options.

Would Not RecommendI wish I would of read the online reviews before I purchased theses, they really don’t work. I bought 2 packs along with the gel that goes in them (I have pets so I didn’t want to use peanut butter). The mice go right past them (I put one next to where they’re coming in. My cat has “blessed” me with another dead mouse since I got the traps. I was really hoping these worked so I could catch the mice and just throw the trap, mouse and all away.
Snap vs Containment
Would Not RecommendI have 3 small children and I purchased 4 of these containment traps to prevent them from seeing mice after they were caught. I also purchased the Tom Cat bait to fill the traps. After a few days with no results I purchased a few snap traps and got results. I then placed 3 traps side by side, 1 snap trap with peanut butter along side 2 containment traps, 1 baited with peanut butter and the other the Tom Cat Bait. I have caught 2 on the snap trap and 0 on either containment trap in this conf...
Don't waste your money
Would Not RecommendI bought 3 package of these traps so 6 units total. 3 of them tripped properly & 3 didn't work at all
Don't waste your money, don't work
Would Not RecommendOnce the mouse is caught, it easily and quickly eats through the plastic trap door to escape after having dinner.
Mouse in teh house no more.
Would RecommendEasy to use. Loaded some peanut butter in the trap and BAM caught the little guy. Easy clean up.
Get them Quick
Would RecommendI knew I had at least 1 mouse and put 2 Tomcat Kill and Contain traps out with peanut butter. Got 1 within an hour and the 2nd within 2 hours and threw them away. Have 2traps out to be sure that is it in the garage and utility room. They have always worked for me. I keep a supply on hand since I live by a farm field, I seem to get them frequently. Love the product.
worked perfect
Every winter we have mice that come in and usually use the glue traps. This year we tried the kill and contain and were surprised they worked very well.

It Works
Would RecommendBought a 2-back, placed them both along the wall in my basement where I had seen signs of mice. I baited both with peanut butter, had two dead mice less than 24 hours later. The dead mice were fully contained in the traps, no mess at all.
Waste of money
Bought two packages with new design and have not caught any after three weeks. The traps with old design worked like champ. Does the company knows that if it is working don't change it.
Wish it worked
Would Not RecommendI knew I had mice in my house, I found evidence along the wall behind a couch and on the floor in my pantry. I set up four traps, one in each of the areas mentioned and two more within a short distance ( I live in a small ranch style house). I baited the traps with peanut butter as suggested. Every morning I would check them and nothing, in fact I could see mouse droppings in the trap itself with some of the bait missing. I don’t know if maybe they were just so small that they could just pass ov...
