bought 3 sun joe tire inflators and all 3 had the hose fall out of crimp on collar side

Not the best air compressor

I bought this air compressor as a backup to a more expensive one I had it worked great for a bit but after not using for a while it’s dead and the battery won’t charge and initially I gave it a good review on YouTube but I’m taking the video down

no replacement for air hose

cannot find a air hose replacement anywhere or warranty. Mine is less than 1 year old and the hose leaks,

Hose is not strong enough, makes the unit useless!

Same as others, the unit got hot during a small inflation and the hose melted at the plastic attachment and is not repairable. No inventory so no warranty replacement. Shame because the rest of the unit is decent. A small redesign to make this attachment point repairable would make it great.

Hose is the weak link! Renders compressor useless!

Hose gets hot where it exits unit and ruptures and then you have a flat tire. Need a way to get a higher quality replacement hose, maybe braided along with instructions on how to replace it and then you might have a product worth buying. I regret the purchase because it is a useless compressor without a hose.

Would love to love this, but…

I had bought two of these, and while they can be convenient, they are not durable. If you let run too long the hose heats up and breaks. Unfortunately, this is not a pat that can be changed, and seems to be a weakness in the design.

Hose detached and broke after less than 6 months;

Worked great for about 6 months until the hose blew off of the end of the compressor. I tried to reattach it but it won’t seal correctly and leaks air faster than it can refill it. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Disappointed with the overall performance!

Air compressor is slow to pump up tires(for its size). Also it gets very hot(this is Florida!). This will cause it to shut down for a while. Also, the digital PSI reading is 2 lbs low at 28 lbs, and 4 lbs low at 60 PSI.Maybe I should try one of the digital models in the ads? I thought size of the unit would mean something!

Bicycle tires yes. car tires no

Will not pump air into car tire . It starts and then shuts off.

Got 4 years out of it

Mine lasted 4 years. It worked well until the hose popped off.

Weak hose and no replacement available...useless

very disappointed. works fine for small tires and bicycles, but the hose burst when filling a tire on my pickup, and there does not seem to be a replacement available.

Not for full size tires

The Sunjoe worked well as long as the job was small. Tried to inflate a tire on my pickup and the hose started to leak. Although it can be removed I can't find a replacement.

if your air chuck starts leaking air you can't replace hose so now you have a compresser you cant use but the pump still works mine lasted 4 years but didn.t use it that much

Good and bad

Would have give a 5 star, I really like it, except the hose started leaking at the fitting at the pump. No way to repair or replace the hose. Good compressor and battery but unusable.

Love the pump, but a few questions.

I've been using this pump for months now, and it works pretty well. One small negative is that the instructions note that the air pressure displayed on the pump is not accurate, and they suggest using a separate pressure meter to verify the pressure. Sure enough, the pressure noted on the pump is 1 or 2 PSI less than the actual needed pressure. So I have to set the pump to 37PSI in order to get an accurate 35PSI, and double-check with a manual pressure meter. As I say, minor negative. I'm wond...

Awesome Inflator

I have the slightly older discontinued model with the soft carry bag yet I LOVE mine and I'm sure this newer model is even better. The built in digital gauge is 100% accurate and the other features are great. I have inflated totally deflated car tire while on the car with absolutely zero problems and no over heating so it can surly handle any other inflation job.

Very Disappointed

Very disappointed. Mostly have had good luck with SunJoe products. I've had this for a couple years but used it only a few times. Hose broke off. Cannot buy replacement hose. Have to replace entire basic unit. Receiving a small discount, but this is a lot of aggravation. Plus, now have flat tire.
