I’ve had this mower for better than 3 years. Large mowing area, sloped, dense thick grass, a half dozen trees, conifers, elms, perimeter front and back yard. This mower handles this task beautifully

Lacking replacement parts

Great lawnmower but replacement parts are lacking. Especially blades and mulching plug for examples.

Poor battery, overheats within 60’ of highest that

I just received this unit, charged the batteries overnight, had it set on the highest setting for thatching, I could make 2 30’ long rows and the battery would over heat, wait 5 minutes for it to cool down and start again. Perhaps I got a bad unit but this is not worth my time.

Cordless Lawn Mower 48v 17-inch

I was so excited to finally have my sunjoe again since I lost my old one in my last house fire. Well we live in a small manufactured home community the yard is not big at all! Finally got off work to use my sunjoe batteries fully charged and all. And bam batteries drained in less than 30 minutes of usage with my yard looking half cut on just one side of my trailer batteries were literally full bars and drained that fast to 1 bar. For the price of this lawn mower you would think it would last way...

It mows but replacement blade is elusive

I like the mower and it functions well. However, in 3 years they have not offered a new blade for this mower. It has been out of stock or unavailable. If you buy this mower and junk the blade you will have to buy my the entire mower again to get a new blade.

My favorite mower

I love this small but powerful mower. I have had mine for 4 years and absolute no problems. I can mow my 0.10ths of an acre on a full charge. VERY LOW NOISE. Light weight can tote with one hand. My favorite feature is the height of the push bar, I am 5'10 with back issues, it adjusted to my standing height. I use it almost every weekend here in Georgia for 10 months out of the year. Have not replaced the batteries yet. Great mower! The best in my opinion.

Cuts grass too low.

Powerful mower with great battery capacity but the unit simply cuts the grass too short as others have mentioned. Definitely does not cut at 3”. I have St Augustine grass which needs to be kept high to keep the grass from drying out on hot days. I would guess it cuts just a little over 2”. Unfortunately no good for my application but a great unit otherwise. I’ll be looking for a replacement.

Help finding replacement blade

Can’t find replacement blade, can anyone point me in the right direction.

Won’t buy another mower

I purchased this mower worked good first year and the next year it only works on low speed and I know batteries are good because I used them in my sun Jo snowblower when it’s batteries ran down

great mower but no replacement parts

Bought this mower four years ago and it was great. I particularly appreciated the light weight, and I was able to get all of my little yard without recharging. There was some problem with grass not really discharging anywhere and just clumping up on the inside of the mower but no big deal. More recently, though, there has been a huge problem. Great, BUT. . .

This is a great little mower, with a big BUT. It cuts beautifully, the battery life is good. I have a typical city lot (approx. 50'x150'). I have an extra pair of batteries and with both pairs I can get my yard done. It is durable and well built. It is a dream to push especially compared to the gas mower that it replaced. Love this great Product!!

Ok=, I received the Mower! Opening the box, I found the lawn Mower easy to set up and the batteries in good condition as well as the charger. I unboxed the mower and within five minutes cut tested the mower. The weight is great, and Sun Joe has a great product here. This is good for a small to medium size yard. I would not try it on bigger projects. If you have a larger yard you may need to charge the batteries again before completing the yard.

Easy to use. Can nearly finish my yard with one charge on batteries. I do have extras. My favorite mower.

No replacement blades for Sun Joe 17 inch

The mower is fine but Sun Joe doesn't sell replacement blades, so when your blade is done, so is your mower.

No Replacement Blade

All good till you need to order a new blade. It works fine. Battery lasts enough to cover 2000 sqft. But there is no replacement blade for this model to be found anywhere.

Buyer Beware

No replacement parts (blade or mulching plug) available either through SJ or aftermarket. They are selling a $300 disposable item I guess.

Quality company with elite products

Fantastic product, and the company is even better. My smaller and older sunjoe was replaced via warranty (it's worth getting) with a bigger better newer one, and customer service was what you would want if not better. Opening this new lawnmower and putting it together felt like my birthday, there were so many exciting features that greatly impressed me, and have sold me completely for a future lifelong customer of their products. Can fold and store, but I won't stand up straight.

Cuts well, Battery is ok. You can fold it, but it won't stand up straight. There is no snap folding design neither. Have to turn the nobs every time.
