Returned. Too off balance

Though the clipper cut well holding it close like a regular machine. However, it is so unbalanced I had to return it. I even rigged up a harness to make it easier but no harness can counteract the heaviness of the head/motor assembly. The battery’s weight does not offset it.

the trimmer works well and battery lasts well but it is heavy on the arms and and wish it could do a 90 degree turn in for another angle to work with

Disappointed

I was excited to purchase this hedger since I have some tall hedges and usually have to climb a ladder making it unsafe. Upon receiving my order, assembly, while looks simple, took some figuring out. Once I starting to use the hedger, I noticed several things. One, it does not feel like 8.8lbs as advertised. It feels more like 20lbs. Works great!

Sun Joe SJH902E Electric Telescoping Pole Hedge Tr

I've used this hedge 4 times to trim up tall bushes. The tilting head is the reason I ordered this. It works perfectly so I have no need to grab a six foot step ladder. Seems well constructed and having a cord attached is a benefit since not having a heavy battery that would create an uneven weight distribution.

Trims branches well

I tried to use a manual hedge clipper but electric trimmer cut through the branches much faster. I used the telescoping feature which adds a few feet to your reach. It's pretty long even without telescoping it. My husband had a little bit of trouble handling it and it's somewhat top heavy. The swivel feature on it makes it easily adjustable to cut different branches.

Great for cutting high hedges

It comes with a 21 inch cutting blade with a telescoping pole for additional needed height for high bushes. Also has a Multi-Angle Head that allows versatility. It can be a little tiring holding it at odd angles for long periods of time. Being electric eliminates the need for gas and also is nice on the environment. Overall a good product.

Great Trimmer!

We have large bushes lining the front fence and they can be very difficult to trim. With this telescoping I can easily reach all areas for a nice, clean trim. Very quiet

Great for hedges.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These worked amazingly for my husband when trimming our hedges by the road. We have a row of hedges by the road and it’s always such a pain to trim them especially since there’s a ditch. These telescope surprisingly a lot and the head has different angles you can use. The strap made it easier to use and absorbed some of the weight load. Definitely makes trimming those easier that’s for sure!

Exactly what I needed!

It took me a little time to select the right extension and coordinate handling (maybe because I'm left handed?) Once I got the hang of it I was off and trimming. Ideal for trimming tall cedar hedge. It took me half the time because no ladder was required! Trimmer has good power and nice blade length.

Powerful hedge trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a powerful hedge trimmer for those who have large substantial hedges to be trimmed. It does an excellent job of shaping hedges. Using the strap is absolutely necessary. It is quite a heavy piece of equipment for someone my age.

Ok, but some issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The assembly seemed more difficult that it should have been. One of the centering clip was broken upon receipt, so trying it with 3 out of the 4 clip. It does cut ok. The blade adjustment is easy. Fairly easy to use.

Great power tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this hedge trimmer on the overgrown bushes in front of my house and it made it so much easier! I definitely appreciate the fact that it extends and the angles move. It cut through the small twigs so easily and was not heavy to hold at all.
