The dollies are wooden with slates for drainage of the pot. The casters have locks on them, but they are plastic and not suitable for moving around with the weight of the planter. One of the wheels fell off when I attempted to move the planter. I had 1.5 cu. feet of soil inside.

Would RecommendThe product was perfect for the intended use. You do have to check each item before putting in your cart. The quality control is lacking from the manufacturer. The wheel assemblies may not be effectively attached to the item and the screws may detach causing the wheel assemblies to fall off. I am using the items to transfer and move my heavy plants in my greenhouse with a concrete floor.

Would Not RecommendOne of the wheels on this caddy broke the first time I used it to move a lightweight bookshelf across the carport. This caused the shelf to tip, which caused a drawer in the shelf to fall out and break. The broken wheel rendered the caddy useless. On the downside, I no longer have a caddy. On the upside, I'm glad I didn't use it to try to move a potted plant across my tile living room floor.
