Would RecommendThese fittings are less likely to suffer from thread damage, but the saw or flame cuts on the pipe end can be frustrating. Several of these I used recently required extra attention to remove copper balls or nicks that blocked inserting the copper pipe. They'll probably be fine for long-term use, but the additional up-front work was undesired.
