Absolute garbage

This hole saw was completely destroyed by less than 1 inch of cutting. All the diamond was gone. Kept wet and cleaned periodically, but still wore out far faster than the other brand I used for the same project.

Did not last for second use. Water was used to keep the bit cool, however the diamond plating came off quickly when cutting through ceramic tile.

Works but doesn’t last long

Worked as expected drilling glass but didn’t last very long. I believe I drilled 8 holes in a glass bottle and it was basically done

It worked to cut through slate tile.

We bought this to cut holes in slate tile. We trickled water from the garden hose onto the hole saw bit as we were cutting. It cut right through, no problem. We only had 3 holes to cut in our project so we can't speak to how well this holds up over a bigger job.

How to use it properly for it to last a long time.

I like that I was able to cut into hard tile.

Not a smart purchase

I am a contractor and have used this type of cutter several times. I usually buy a certain brand from a different store. It's a red colored tool with a brand name from a city where they drink a lot of beer. Those ones last for 10-12 holes in 3/8 porcelain tile. This one worked well for one hole, started to lose its diamond on the second and failed completely half way through the third. If it was priced at $5 and you only want to cut 3 or 4 holes you could spend 10 bucks and accept the results. T...
