Would RecommendLikely the most uncommon common pine I've bought in a long time. The knots were uncommonly knotty. The grain was about as grainy as any I've ever seen- or is it saw, since I used a saw on it to get the length I needed. I may make plaques out of the remainder so they can be hung on the wall where I can remember this particular board forever.

Unsatisfactory cheap wood for quick project!
Would Not RecommendI showed up at Lowe's to get wood! As soon as it was home and varnished, and began to dry, it cracked right down the middle of the plank! Now I've got wood, cracked and varnished, waiting to find a project that needs much narrower already varnished wood!
