I found the safe unusable. The battery terminals on the safe were the same size as the ones on the battery itself. As a consequence I couldn't even begin the process of putting the safe in operational condition. Also, I didn't realize the extent of the limitations in terms of usage, i.e. only paper in plastic bags, open safe once a month (lots of messing around). I returned the unit and will search for something else.

Would RecommendI just received the CHW30300 and it was easy set up the combination and at this time all is going well. Love the fact it is a digital safe. Hope it will perform better than my last Fire/Water Chest.

Failed to open
The safe appeared to set up easily as far as a personal code and registering it was easy. But it failed to open easily and in fact I have returned it due to failure to be opened.
