Great mid-level induction range

Replaced an older kitchen appliance set with this and have been extremely happy. Great induction cooking, and nice simple user friendly design. Love the knob and panel controls. Cooks quickly and consistently.

Poor construction

One of the burner knobs snapped off after 1.5 years of use. Samsung refused to replace the part out of warranty, which was a shocking 10% of the price I paid initially for the entire unit. This was my first, and will be my last purchase of a Samsung product. I highly recommend avoiding.

Failure after 2.5 years

Range failed after 2.5 years. Neither of the large burners will detect a pan and give an error code. The repair options are cost prohibitive and it is not clear that they will fix the problem. The product is outside of warranty.

Awesome range and oven.

Because it requires a pan to be on the eye before heat is produced, it is child proof. However, there is a cooling down period after an eye has been heated up. Range broke (maybe fuse?) after 16 moderate months

I bought this 16 months ago, and yesterday the cooktop had some kind of issue where all four burners are displaying the "F0" that others have mentioned/shown. I put in a call to a local repairman today. It is not very easy for me to have no working range for a long period. Prior to this, I was basically satisfied with the range and oven, although it smelled a lot for a while after arrival and I dislike the touch controls (in lieu of physical buttons). DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF BUYING

Our range is not not even 2 years old and we already have to make repairs to the cook top, error code F0. Of course, it's no longer under the 1 year warranty. We've only had it 1 year and 6 months!! SAMSUNG do us all a favor and stop making awful expensive appliances.

Hard to use

I cannot even set the clock on this thing, you have to be a computer expert. As far as the cooking top is concerned there are not enough large areas for cooking. Has three 7 inch or less areas and only one larger one. Don't try to fry a skillet of decent size and also a good size pot of something else. After I had a service call, I did get the oven cooking decently at the correct temperature range.

Like my stove, but….

I like my new stove, but I can’t hear the timer signal. Is there a way to increase the volume?

Love my new range

The induction cook top provides even heat and its fast and focused only at the burner. The convection oven cooks evenly. The burners are enclosed where drippings can't get on elements.

Do not buy!

I had this range for a year and a half. Turned the self clean feature on and it stopped working. Had a repair guy come to look who said the self clean had blown out the control panel and repair would be $750. Called Samsung and was told there was nothing that could be done in terms of paying for repair as warranty is only 1 year and is now out of warranty. I have never had an appliance die on me in such a short amount of time. I will never buy a Samsung appliance again. Soooo frustrated.

Efficient & Stylish Addition

We love this Samsung induction stove for its simplicity of use and it's durability. With that said, we have two complaints which we will address towards the end of this review. To begin with, it heats very rapidly and shortens the amount of time needed from boiling water to heating up sauces or stews. Heats quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so good. I am amazed at how fast water does boil and how a comal for tortillas quickly heats up. Pots do slide around a bit, but it is nothing that can't be managed. I do wish the knob/instrument labeling was larger/clearer.

Excellent top - Unacceptable Oven

Overall I just cannot recommend this product. I’ve used this range for just over a year and the time of this review. While I find the range top quite excellent the oven, on the other hand, I find inadequate. The induction cooktop makes precision cooking easy but the oven temperature varies wildly. I have a standalone digital oven thermometer inside and attached to the middle grate. I can easily see the internal temperature swing by ~50 degrees or more (~25 degrees either side of what is set)....

Great solid working oven, but touchy controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really good and reliable oven. The temperatures are consistent and the function is of the quality you expect form Samsung. The physical buttons and screen are sometimes touchy if you lean too close to the top while cooking, I'm holding off a star for that reason only. Otherwise, I feel good about my purchase.

Counter Stove Gap

I do not like having a gap between counter and stove where food can disappear. Samsung sells a kit to cover the gap. I am investigating kit but since it is $100 I am shopping around.
