Very fancy, but not worth the headaches.

Purchased this washer 4 years ago and I am pretty disappointed. I have always purchased inexpensive scratch and dent washers, which have worked very well. We finally decided to invest in our dream washer and dryer combo and it has been a rough ride. Within the first year, the lettering started to fade. within 2 years the washer would make loud banging sounds and had to schedule a repair. Now 4 years later error code AC6. This washer should not be having this many issues.

Mold mold mold!!

The gasket in this washing machine grows mold even if you leave the door open. The dryer is awful as well and uses an efficiency setting so you basically have to dry everything on two cycles just to get your clothes dry. Buyer beware!

Beyond disappointed

i would never buy another samsung appliance again. this washer only lasted us 4 years. after spending $115 on a repair person and multiple days without being able to do laundry with a baby just to find out the whole computer went out. i now had to buy a new wash machine. after just 4 years!!!!!

The worst washer I have EVER owned!

this front loading washer is just horrible. the washer always smells like mold and i have used the tub clean feature too many times to count. my clothing always comes out of this washer smelling moldy. i would never buy another samsung product again!! it's my second one and this one is the worst one of all!!!

Cheap plastic parts and poor service

Cheap plastic arm that holds the imbalance sensor broke. Contacted Samsung and they refused to sell me the part. You have to pay for someone else to confirm the broken plastic part is not normally supposed to be in pieces. Door stopped latching and you have to hold the door closed while starting it for the lock to engage and hold the door shut.

Not worth the headache.

Bought this washer in 2016. I bought this for the high capacity, energy efficiency, and option to add clothes through the door hinge. It worked beautifully until just shortly after the warranty expired. I had anticipated this as a possibility, so I got an extended warranty. My biggest issue is that when it stopped working it completely fell apart. Clothes were not getting adequate water, coming out with dry spots, still dirty, still smelly. No disappointment at all

After my frustration with stove, microwave, refrigerator and dryer, the washer had been the only appliance that I have no complaint. It works great.

Fantastic Washer

Purchased this washer and have been thoroughly impressed. Runs very quietly and cleans the clothing better with much less water usage than my 15yr old top loader. This washer is significantly much heavier than my older washer, so plan on having an extra help to move around.

Don't buy, won't stay clean

I have had the washer and matching dryer for two and a half years. I wish I would have purchased a different set, because this washer / dryer set is not worth the money I paid for them. My biggest complaint is that the washer will not stay clean. And after a year, it got to the point where it won't even come clean, no matter how much it is scrubbed. Malfunctioned on first load.

Put the first load of laundry in and got a fill error error code... except it was happening on the drain Cycle. Called customer service and they were baffled as well. Cannot even do a load of laundry! The washer was stuck on the exact same point of the cycle over and over. I was finally able to get it to do a rinse and spin. Great Machine Until It Breaks Under Warranty

I loved this machine and it worked wonderfully, until it stopped working after 10 months, under warranty. Samsung's Warranty Service is a nightmare, and I wish I had read about it in a review prior to buying. It happened over Thanksgiving, and they suggest reporting online and then they get back to you 24 hours AFTER the next business day. I purchased this machine in July of 2016...so I have it now a total of 14 months and have only been able to use it for 11 months due to breakdowns and problems with repairs!! The first breakdown was in May when the machine was not even a year old!! The final spin feature stopped working...they came and after a month finally replace everything inside the machine...drum, motor, ect...the machine worked for about a month and a half before it broke again!! Terrible investment - DON'T BUY SAMSUNG WASHERS

We bought this washer with the matching dryer eight years ago. After a couple years, we had to pay about $250 to have a new water pump installed. The last straw was when the unit flooded our laundry room. At this price point, a washer should hold up for more than eight years! On a related note, I've had to replace the heating element in the dryer TWICE in the 8-year period, and the dryer died today. I can't afford a new washer and dryer every 8 years. I'm done with Samsung appliances!

Horrible!!

DO NOT buy a Samsung appliance. My washer is less than a year old and they have sent a repairman to my house 6 times in the past month to work on it and its still not fixed! They refuse to replace it!! Their customer service is horrible! They are rude and unhelpful. Wish I could say Lowe's customer service was anymore helpful, but after being on the phone for an hour and a half, all they did was put in a complaint with Samsung.

Don't Buy This Model

I purchased this particular washing machine model due to it having the door in the front to add in an item that I may have forgotten before starting the wash cycle. The machine worked for almost a month 28 days to be exact. I kept getting the 4C error message which means there was a problem with the draining.
