Pure Rubbish Washer Rusts

This washer has been repaired twice for rusting from the inside out. Once by Samsung, and months later, when the same parts began flaking and dropping paint and rust chips into the washer drum. Samsung: "Do not allow the washer to get wet." Will NEVER buy anything with the Samsung name on it again.

I love my washer

I’m leaving this review as I’m helping my mother shop for a new washer. I logged into my lowe’s acct to show her mines. I’ve had my washer for 7 YEARS now and have had absolutely no problems. I wash all kinds of items, I’m just cautious as to what settings I use depending on the items. Pain

This washers spin cycle is violent. It’s due to the suspension rod springs are too week . I tried the mod for them and bought new ones. Still goes back to the problem. It knocks itself out of whack so then you have to restart it , this happens several times on 1 load daily . I’ve hade this washer and dryer probably 6 years . I’m done no more Samsung appliances for me

7 yrs later and still going strong!

I purchased this washer in Feb. 2013, as a fan of Samsung Smart TVs and cell phones, I said why not give their washers a try. And 7 years later the washer is still going strong. Runs well and clothes come out clean. You have to clean it regularly, like once a month as you should with any washer depending on usage frequency. 3 year lifespan

This has been a good machine for 3 years. The store warranty was for 3 years and ran out two months ago. Now the machine won't wash a load without getting out of balance. The motor is the only part covered under the 10 year warranty so now we're stuck with it.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!

I purchased this washer in 2012 thank goodness I purchased the lowes extended warranty because now 4 years in it has needed a new motor, new hall sensor, new drive shaft, new drain pump bracket, and now I'm pretty sure it needs new suspension rods because no matter how many times I readjust the load it will not spin out all the way it tried to fill back up with water move the clothes around and spin again then does the DC error code over and over and over its worthless and I'll never ever own an...

Broke down after 3 years

Purchased from Lowe's May, 2013. Started giving error code "dc" in April 2016. Completely worthless by June 2016. Gave error code "dc" every single time, could not finish a load. Tried with nothing, 1 sock and on up. No one in town will work on Samsung machines. Leveled it out. Re-calibrated. Tried everything possible. Called company, out of warranty. Will throw it away now. Bought a Whirlpool a few weeks ago.

Definitely not one of my best buys

After two years using this machine, I couldn't stand it any more. The locked lid was a great nuisance. I like to be free to check the load. With this machine I had to check a lot. The main problem was the spin cycle. No matter how precisely I loaded the wash; it refused to spin and slammed and crashed about . It was always unbalanced. Quality

Not the quality we expected from a Samsung product. Machine is very noisy.

Poor Machine

Have had nothing but problems with it! Pump problems, leaking and now motor problem! Make a lot of noise during operation. Have had them out to repair and still having issues after issue! Have other samsung product and this one is the worst out of everything we purchased! Not worth the money!

This washing machine is total garbage

This washing machine is total garbage. After only 18 months of use, the tub became completely unbalanced and knocked around inside so hard that it scraped all the plastic off of the tub at the top. The metal at the bottom of the tub began to separate and warp and my clothes got stuck between the metal pieces. I have never seen such a thing happen in a washer before. Worse purchase I've ever made!!!

In 27 months this item has needed major repairs 3 times. At 9 months, a part broke and dumped a tub of water on my floors. Now the rinse/spin cycle just keeps resetting and will not complete.

This gets my clothes super clean

I have no idea how it does it, but I can stuff a ton of clothes in here, with the same amount of soap as my old washer- and everything is way cleaner. I can actually see a visible difference.

Run from this Washer !!!!

It is the worst product I've ever purchased. In less than two years of owning the thing, the drain assembly broke, draining the water onto the floor of our laundry room, and the clutch assembly went out. The drain assembly was around $100 and the clutch was another $175. I replaced both myself so I saved on service fees. The only thing positive I can say is that at least it's easy to work on.

Would never purchase again!

Bought in February 2013 for my (at the time fiancee and now) wife to use in her apartment until we got married in May 2013 and then moved it to my home, along with the matching dryer. IE code is my nightmare

This washing machine has had 2 water pressure sensor failures in less than a year and a half. The first one was repaired (in two weeks time) after only 10 months of use. The second one has gone out after 7 months. Samsung will only agree to pay for the part since we are out of our year warranty. They want to hold me accountable for the labor cost of $259.00. Money pitt

Since buying this washer it has been one thing after another. The control board went out the minute the warranty expired so we had to pay to replace it. Then the drain pump wire harness broke, we replaced it. Three weeks later the entire drain pump broke off during a running load and apparently it was known there was a problem with the placement of the pump and WE have to pay for the kit to move the pump to the "fix" location. Great Purchase!

I recently purchased the Samsung washer and I absolutely love it!! I am a gadget type girl (like appliances with along out different buttons and features), and this machine has been great. Washes great and its fairly quiet, not as quiet as I would like it to be. But nonetheless, a great purchase all around.

Don't buy this Samsung washing machine

This washing machine is my worst nightmare. I fold the clothes, make sure it is balanced. But it shakes and stop spinning showed error sign I try to clear it.rebalance the clothes . Then it goes into cycles of getting water and stopping for ever.
