Regret Purchase

I regret choosing this induction stove top nearly every day. The keypad is obnoxious. It is difficult to change the heat setting if you just want to go down or up 1 or 2 digits. Setting the timer requires perfectly placed and several pushes to set higher or lower than 10 minutes. Keypad often takes several pushes before responding. Fingerprints cannot be avoided--even with dry, clean fingers, there are fingerprints. Some kind of dial would be better for all issues. Cooking zones are strange size...

Stopped working after 1 year

It stopped working a couple of months outside the 1 year warranty period. There was a loud pop and then it wouldn’t power on again.

Very nice, but has some issues.

I bought this cooktop to replace an electric type so installation was fairly straightforward. The speed, power and control are incredible. I've had a 110V tabletop induction burner for about 15 years, and always liked using that. This wasn't a fortune and it has the large burner many other models lack, so for using my large pans I chose this. I also have other Samsung appliances I'm happy with. Solid product

broken after one year use-STAY AWAY

the unit was delivered Nov of 2023 for my kitchen renovation, use it for about a year, and it's broken. decent power but poor usability and controls

I like the easy cleanup of this cooktop. The surface is all glass and smooth, so it's simple to wipe it down. Unfortunately, my list of dislikes is much longer. In short, I'm not convinced the people who designed this cooktop, particularly the UX, actually cook much at all. Let's begin with starting a burner. I originally owned a $2K Kitchen Aid cooktop which unfortunately broke 3 times in 9 years costing $600 to repair each time. Buyer beware;: after care if something goes wrong

Buyer beware: bought this cooktop 9 months ago. Previously owned a GE profile product for over 13 years. The glass shattered already. There is no protection around the edge of the glass top which I did not think was critical but I would never buy another one again with the metal trim. A small crack on the edge continues to crack throughout the cooktop. Awful service techs they are affiliated with and customer service is not help. Great Features!

I received compensation for this review but the review is my own. This fits in beautifully along with my other Bespoke Samsung appliances in my newly remodeled kitchen. I connected it with the SmartThings app. My favorite feature is that the app allows me to check if the burners were left on if I am away from the house! No regrets on this purchase

Heats 2x faster. Stop inhaling gas when cooking.

The cooktop was installed today. Working as expected. 2x faster to heat. Extremely easy to clean. Looks way more pleasing than my old gas cooktop. This is my second purchase of induction cooktop, and I am glad I made the purchase. [I received compensation for this review but the review is my own]

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very fast to boil water, beautiful looking, and so far build quality is very good too, no scratches even after several months of use with large pots.

Disappointed

Touch senor for power level setting is very frustrating. I hope Samsung fix this issue with firmware update or by adding some fine adjustment of power level with +/-. Two 7" coils are too close. 7" pots with extra rims are touching each other.

Quick and easy to control heat

I've only been using this cooktop for a week.I picked this model because it had circle fitting a large ( 11in) pan. I am pleased with how quickly the pan heats and remains at the precise temperature.I'm giving this model a 4 because believe that the cooktop would be more usable if the placement circles were rearranged so there could be a second larger circle replacing one of the 8in spots.

Induction is here to stay

Works great. Hard to get water spots off cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this about a month and it works great. Have to be careful with what kinds of pans you use as they must be magnetic. Only concern is that the top is a little hard to clean when water spots get on there still haven’t found the best cleaning solution to use to get it sparkling.
