Never again!

There’s no back lighting for the buttons so you can’t see what you’re pushing. It’s missing common preset buttons and the only preset button that works accurately is for melting and softening butter. The others are useless. After 3 years it has an error I code E-11 for a gas sensor error. It was incredibly difficult to install. The directions and template were completely wrong. Never again. Don’t let the sleek front design fool you. This sucks.

Major flaw. Don't buy.

Neighborhood and I have exact same model. His did the -SE- error and he had to replace the whole door after 2 years. Mine was manufactured in 2019 and it suffered the same death (2023). I'm not paying hundreds for a door. 1yr warranty is a joke. Samsung doesn't stand behind their appliances or care about their customers.

Purchased in Jan-2020. The humidity sensor failed and now (Jan-2023; just a few weeks after 3rd party extended protection plan expired too!) the microwave no longer heats. worked fine for about 2 years. then while heating food it started making vibration noise and started smoking. i'm going to cut my losses and buy a cheap replacement microwave. samsung has lost a valuable customer. i will never buy another samsung appliance and i will be hard pressed to ever buy anything with a samsung badge on it again for the next 50 years of my life.

we moved into a new home. previous owners put in this microwave in 2019. it is no longer working oct 2021. for something so pricey it's frustrating and disappointing. moving on to a more reliable brand. -also the door is long so it swings out really far. expect to have to back up and constantly dodge it when opening and closing, sometimes difficult if you're trying to work quickly or your partner is cooking something on the stove.

We bought ours in 2018 and just 3yrs to the month it stopped working and will not warm the food we put in. We tried to contact Samsung and got the run around. The product and the customer service is almost not worth the time it takes to write this review. Also Lowe's responded as if it was straight from a book when they said "You have to contact the manufacturer". Good thing they back their products.

We have had this microwave for a couple years. Shortly after we got it we got and 5E code. Had Samsung come out and look at it. They pressed some buttons and then it worked. Since then it has happened another dozen times. Today was the last time. We cannot get it to work. Won’t buy another Samsung microwave.

I bought tbis microwave approximately 2 years ago and it died about a year after purchase. I boiled potatoes in a large pot and the condensation from the boiling made the circuit board short out. Ive been warned about Samsung products in the past but I will certainly listen from now on.

While it seems like a good idea to have the controls on the front lower panel. The steam from your stove shorts it out. It didn't last 6 months and the buttons quit working. It was still under warranty but I was told it is due to steam that ruins the panel. Well unless you don't cook, then there is going to be steam there. We bought this Samsung microwave A YEAR AGO! All of a sudden, it stopped working and we couldn't even press the keypad. Error code SE. Out of warranty since it is 2 weeks past the one year warranty. Buying a Whirlpool microwave instead and trashing this one!
