I used this last year on patio chairs, it worked great! This year I'm going to try on patio sofa.

I read the poor reviews and I still gave it a try from spraying from different distances and it still sprayed blotch’s of paint ruined my coushion!!!! I have my receipt as well !! Pull this item off your selfs !!!! HORRIBLE PRODUCT!!!

Don’t buy this spray paint!!

The paint does not come out of the sprayer. It clogs constantly no matter how much you shake it or how often you clean out the spray tip. I used regular Rustoleum spray paint for the metal parts of my outdoor furniture and 6 cans of this spray paint for the fabric and EVERY can of the fabric paint clogged and wouldn’t spray but there were no problems with the regular spray paint cans.

WORST product from Rustoleum

6/23/25: This is the WORST product ever put out by Rustoleum, I have ever used. If I could give it ZERO stars, I would have. And at $15 per can!? I can't even get one can to spray without clogging within a few seconds. I followed ALL the instructions to the letter, from shaking for the allotted 1 minunte, to removing the the clog from the nozzle. Each time, within a few seconds, it quits spraying and starts spitting, then stops completely. I tried another nozzle from another new can and the sam...

Unusable

Bought two cans and within minutes of use the nozzles came off of both. I've tried reattaching but the paint just leaks out, rendering both full cans unusable. Very frustrated and disappointed as I heard good things about this product

Great for awning

Painted my roll up awning that was faded from sun, looks great now.

Disappointed but I'll live with it

I had the same experience with the nozzles clogging on every can I bought. I did manage to almost finish the project before I rain out of paint. I probably could have finished if the nozzles didn't stop working. I need one more can of paint to finish and I can't find this paint anywhere in stock. At least not in the color I''ve been using.

Did not dry as directions stated.

I am very unhappy with this product. I followed the directions and the fabric did not dry for over 2 hours and then still tacky. The coverage was not good. Very expensive for such a poor result. I am an experienced painter with the canned products.

5 out of 6 cans didn't work and are defective

I was so hopeful this product would work for my outdoor cushions, but the spray cans have defective nozzles. Only ONE can out of SIX actually worked, but I couldn't finish my project with only one can. I"ll have to use dye for my cushions. I won't try this product again.

A BIG NO!!

I had two chairs that I wanted to spray and after about 8 passes on the first chair the can stopped spraying. And yes, there was still much more paint in the can. I waited and made several more attempts with no luck. I might add that I did follow all instructions. If you go online and search other reviews you will find that this is a common problem.
