30 years durability experience!

We bought a vertical storage shed 30 years ago and moved it to Germany, where it's been used outside. Although we just had to disassemble and reassemble it again, that was easily done. It's still in perfect condition after all these years. Now we wish to add shelves to it. But sadly Rubbermaid does not sell & ship to Germany.

I love this a lot

Outdoor storage shed is amazing. The material is great and long, lasting very durable. It is very sturdy and does not move or shake. Easy to access the doors are very nice and great material. This is perfect for anyone who wants an additional storage outside without breaking the bank.

Weather resistance for Vertical Storage Shed less than 1 year old

25 years and still as good as new

I have had one of these sheds for more than 25 years and it's still doing great. It keeps everything dry even the the worst weather. Need to buy another one even with the higher cost. It's worth it.

long lasting!!!!

Here it is 2025 and I just received my second Vertical Shed 3749. My other 3749 is over 25 years old and am finally replacing 1 part. Not because of anything other than the base is slightly damaged after ....(drum roll) 9 moves. Great Product. Sooooo good, I've added a second one.

Very poor design.

I added two shelves inside, and the vertical panels at the back on both sides opened up. Now there are gaps between the back and side panels.

Lifetime storage outdoor sheed

This sheed with vertiral side that look small but can have so much storage to use. The material is lifetime. I have this for 3 years outside in my garden without cover but still good functional and never leak water to the inside. Recommended

Poor quality

Less than 3 years old the right side door hinge snapped off making this an expensive piece of trash

Junk

After less than 3 years, whole right door broke at the base hinge and fell off completely.

Could be better

After 3 years screws are rusting. They should be made of a better material. I’d also like for a foundation plan to be included.

Small, very convenient storage

I have two Big Max Vertical Storage Sheds! I've had them for 18 years and now need to add another. I built my own shelves using the outline that comes with the shed. I added brackets to bolt the sides of the shed to the shelf for more rigidity. The brackes keep the sides from spreading apart. I used 1/4 X 20 bolts with large washers on the outside of the shed to keep from pulling through the plastic. It's worked for 18 years, and the sheds look like new.

Need Help

I love the shed but one of my hinge pins broke off. I need to know where I can find a replacement door so I don’t have to McGiver the hinge. Please help.

Great Product and Durable.

I purchased mine 5 years ago and still looks and operates like new. good enough to resell it.

So far, so good. I'm planning to buy another.

Going into its second summer, I've had mine for a year and a half and it still looks and works great. It sits against a light wall in the full New Mexico high altitude sun but I haven't seen any evidence of warping or sun damage. I made a flat Pavestone foundation for it and was very careful to ensure that all the pieces were fully seated and locked in place during assembly. That part was tricky and I had to go around it several times to be sure it was all right. Then I placed a baker's rack ins...

Absolutely Terrible!

Absolute dumpster fire of a product. Didn’t last even a few months. Zero structural rigidity. The doors constantly fall off. I’ve put additional screws in it but that is only a temporary fix. Don’t waste your time or money. Can’t believe a product like this can go to market.

Outdoor storage containers that warp in the sun

I had to disassemble 4 Rubbermaid storage containers when I replastered my pool, but when I went to reassemble, they are warped and won’t go back together

save your $ and buy something else, wood or metal.

This thing is such a piece of crap and I'm an idiot for thinking it would be anything otherwise. If you lean anything against the walls, be sure it's not too heavy, like a 4 person tent, which isn't that heavy, but heavy enough to bow the walls and creating a gap in the corners.

Great Vertical Storage Shed

Purchased one when I built my house 20 years ago. Product has held up well until recently when door hinge pin broke off. Probably time to get a new one!

Perfect size for my needs in area

Salted storage unit a year ago to hold chicken feed and other supplies in. We have been very pleased with the unit so far. Not only complaint is I'm having trouble finding the u-shaped bracket holder for the shelves I need to add four and I can't find them
