Would Not RecommendNOT a security hinge. The protrusion that fits into the mortise does NOT prevent the door being taken off if the hinge pins are removed with door closed. The protrusion is tiny. and if there's any play in the door, it will easily pop right if the hinge pins are removed even with your door closed
