Good tool but not great

I got this for Christmas last year and have used it quite a bit. It will cut almost anything pretty easily. The down side is the tool is no longer working after less than one year using it. Also the hyperlock system isn’t great. Vibrations are an issue as well.

Switch Broke

I had mine for a while but hardly used it. It has been in its' case in the house and I got it out to use it tonight and the power switch seems to be shorted out. If I move the switch around it tries to come on but goes right off. And I don't know where to go for help. Purchased at Lowes but can't find my receipt and they don't have it on my online account either.

won't buy again

I received the sonicrafter F50 for Christmas in 2016. It lasted almost two years and then failed. I got a warranty replacement less than a year ago and it failed while I was undercutting some door jams doing a hardwood install. Apparently Rockwell only warranties from the date of the original. They were nice enough to send me a new one as I was just beyond the three year warranty on the original. i have concerns that this tool stop working again, as I don't use it a lot to begin with.

This tool was perfect

I bought my F50 almost 2 years ago and never used it. We have an old farmhouse and my wife got a dishwasher and there is no hook up for it. So I had to make nice cuts in 2 existing cabinets to fit it. My circular saw did the 4 roughing cuts. I used the F50 to finish trimming the cuts square and cut the drain and water holes in the floor. Also cutting the plastic pipe for the new fittings. I. Couldn’t have done a nice job with my reciprocating saw which I used on my last dishwasher installation. ...

Lockdown will not release

The blade can not be changed because the lockdown no longer releases the blade the is in it. Not much use now that the worn blade is not coming out

ROCKWELL Sonicrafter works great

This Rockwell Sonicrafter works great it oscilates allot faster than my last oscillating tool so the jobs goes quickly it allows me to get into tight places and close to the work. I like the fact that I don't have to use a separate tool to change blades and it came with a tool bag and several blades to get started working right away, the only thing it needs is a light up front.

I was need a tool to cut in tight places . This ended up being exactly what I needed. Great tool and great value.

This tool is excellent to cut drywall. It makes the drywall cutting very efficient and more accurate if you take your time marking and cutting. I highly recommend it.
