Worked great in summer

Works great most of the time, but varies throughout the year. Worked best in the summer/fall, they seem to mostly ignore it in the spring. Easy to refill.

Total failure to attract one yellowjacket or wasp.

Yellow jackets and wasps flying all around trap and not one has even checked it out. Total failure! I will return it if Lowes will take it back.

I’ve had this hanging up where wasps are flying around and after two weeks not a single one is in the trap. Waste of money.

Why the negative reviews?

I swear by these. I have never seen any honey bees in them. They catch many wasps a year and if you out them out early spring, they catch the queen and your wasp population will be minimal all summer. The one year I forgot to put them out I had wasps everywhere. These are a must at my house.

Good flying insect trap

This trap works as intended if you follow tbe instructions provided. I would advise that uou put this out early in the season as uou will have a better chance of catching a queen and in eefucing tbe numbef of insects overall. I also use some deli meat in the trap in adfition to ghd inluded pheromone bait.

Beekeepers Bee-ware

I bought two W-H-Y traps hoping to combat paper wasps. One is about 150 yards from my beehives and the other 200 yards. I have caught two wasps and numerous honeybees. As someone who sells and recommends bee safe products, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend these traps to beekeepers.

doesn't work

This is the second time I've tried this trap and it doesn't work. Last time I got one single yellowjacket and several flies. This time the pests seem to avoid it at all cost. They hover around and fly away. Meanwhile, they SWARM my hummingbird feeder(part of the reason for trying the trap) which is nothing but sugar water. I've even removed the hummingbird feeder, but they won't touch the WHY trap. Really frustrating. I think I'll empty the trap and fill it with sugar water and see if I get bett...

Catch and release

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago. It has only been moderately successful. I've caught more with my modified pop bottle. Many wasps have escaped from the bottom cone. Fly around climb up the cone to the top go down the hole and escape out the bottom holes. There has to be a better design that will not allow them to go back down the inside of the cone.

Disappointed

I bought this last week and followed directions carefully and hung it in my mother’s garage on her farm. Her garage has numerous wasps flying around. Went back 5 days later and not a single one was in the trap. Was very disappointed. $15 wasted.

Why trap for bees

So i bought mytrap and got in all ready within 15 min had 6 bees in bottom trap already and thought dang thats awesome went to bed and woke up the next day and went and checked on it again and sadly only 2 bees did not make it out
