What Customers Are Saying
This signal amplifier is generally effective at boosting reception and increasing the number of channels that can be received, especially when used to split the antenna signal to multiple TVs. Many customers reported getting significantly more clear channels. However, a minority found the amplifier did not improve or even worsened their signal, and some reported it stopped working after a short time. The amplifier's effectiveness may depend on the specific setup and location.

This works great on OTA multi-set systems!
Would RecommendI have used these on my outdoor OTA TV antennas, and they work great, at an excellent price! Saw this on sale and got a spare for future customers.

Worked great!
Would RecommendWithout a booster we weren’t able to get local channels since our antenna is in our garage attic. We came home after a brief storm near our house only to find out that our current booster was dead? We needed a booster right away and this was the least expensive option at Lowe’s and they had it in stock. Plugged it in and attached the coax and all of our channels were back! Signal strength went from 30 to 75 percent with the booster. Was definitely worth the money.

Slightly worse signal than no amp
Would Not RecommendI really wanted this to work. I used my device's signal strength meter to measure all my important channel before hooking this up. About 1/3rd of the channels stayed the same. About 1/3rd went DOWN slightly. The other 1/3rd went DOWN significantly. No channel was better.

Would RecommendImproved reception
It works
Would RecommendI've had this antenna booster for a couple years and I'm very happy with it. I might lose channels but that is because of the weather. I can tell a difference if I unplug the booster because the signal gets weaker.
not worth the money
Would Not RecommendI purchased the rva amplifier so I could connect 4 tv's to one roof antenna. With one tv connected I was able to get 51 stations, but as I connected 3 more tv's the number of channels dropped down to 24. I replaced this unit with a channel master amplifier and now get 51 channels on all 4 tv's.
Hi Kurt, when you connect multiple TVs, a splitter divides the incoming signal, so each TV can end up with less signal than a single-TV setup, which ...
