Would RecommendThis pole is very useful for a wide variety of things & is easy to repurpose. I am in a wheelchair, & the chair limits how close I can get to my living room curtains. But with this extension pole, I can use it to reach the curtains & open & close them with ease. I can also use this pole to reach anything I've forgotten & left in my King-size bed. Would Not RecommendThis pole does allow you to choose exactly the length you want, but it's too flexible, so the more you extend it the more it bends. It's stiff enough if you don't extend it too far.

Wish I had read the reviews first
Would Not RecommendAfter about the second use painting walls, the last extension piece (thickest part) will no longer retract back down to the shorter length. Ended up buying a Wooster 2-4 pole and that won't ever break. Good thing this was only around 5 bucks or I'd really be upset.
