Nice option to help repair a cord

Helpful for repairing an extension cord.

Not good connector/plug

I work for an electric utility and I make cable connectors on a daily basis. This one is terrible. The wire connection to each prong is not secure. I had to solder the wires to the prongs to be confident they wouldn't pull out. Probably should've just returned it, but I was able to secure it with extra effort. Compared to other connectors- this one is complete garbage. Avoid it. I gave it 2 stars because the form factor is ok.

Purchased item to replace end on a medium duty extension cord. In short, I threw it out in sheer frustration. The tiny screws and lousy design made it impossible to keep the wires attached securely.

Easy to install, no electrical expereince needed.

This was used to join an outside extension cable mounted on a tree branch, that the squirrels had chewn threw. Was easy to assemble and fit to cable. Does the trick exactly how i needed. I would buy it again, and probably will.
