Ratings & Reviews for Portfolio 14.8-in Brushed Nickel 2 -Light LED Flush Mount Light
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The LED light fixture is a high-quality and very bright lighting solution. Customers praise the brightness, which is significantly greater than previous fluorescent fixtures. The installation process is generally straightforward, though some found it challenging without assistance. While the brightness is a major benefit, it may be excessive for smaller spaces, and a dimmer switch is recommended. A few customers experienced isolated issues, but overall the product is highly recommended, especially for larger spaces requiring powerful and energy-efficient lighting.

Operational life is MUCH shorter than advertised
Would Not RecommendI purchased and installed this unit as the primary overhead light for my small condo kitchen. The aluminum frame is light weight, but also bends easily if not supported its full length which made installation a bit challenging given how long it is. Also, the “brushed nickel” end caps are actually colored plastic. Those issues aside, once installed, the fixture provided good lighting and was reasonably attractive overall. However, after 6 years of use, but still well short of the 35,000 operation...
My only complaint with this light is there was something on the light cover that wouldnt clean off so guess there is a defect in the plastic!

This light is fantastic for brightness
Would Not RecommendThis light is great for brightness however it strobes on occasion while on. I guess it’s the LED strips. It drives my husband crazy. Look for something else

half stopped working, can't replace light strip
Would Not RecommendI bought a house with this light already installed in the kitchen. (I looked on the back of it to get the model number.) One of the two light strips inside the light housing have stopped working. I thought I could just replace one of the strips, but the manual says that they can't be replaced! So, not only is this a poor quality light but it is also a disposable product. What a terrible idea! Well, I'm not going to buy this same light for a replacement. Additionally, I don't agree with the ancho...
Horrible design for installing
Would Not RecommendRather than having the wiring connection inside the light fixture as expected, there are three 4" wires protruding from the top of the light. It is therefore necessary to have someone hold the light while the installer connects the wire nuts and then guides the connected wires into the electrical box. Solving a rubik's cube puzzle is easer that installing this light. The flimsy lightweight frame makes the job even harder. I bought two for my kitchen, and the second did not contain drywall anc...
Excellent Light Fixture
Would RecommendThis fixture looks very neat & clean & since it is 52" long, it covers the footprint of most fluorescent light fixtures that it would be replacing.
Buy something else
Would Not RecommendAll of the other bad reviews sum this product up pretty nicely. It's complete garbage. The install is impossible with one person. It's flimsy and the metal is easily warped. It's downright ridiculous to wire it up when you're installing it. I have two of these on two separate expensive LeGrand LED dimmer switches and they both flicker very badly if you go down below about 30%. So I can't even dim it very far, which was the feature I wanted the most. I had the same problem someone else mentioned ...
Year 4 and it it dead
Would Not Recommendi just went to turn on my shop light today and it no longer works, so it lasted just under 4 years with normal use.
