light weight

Love this item light weight un like the Milwaukee like my brother has. Only thing is wish I had a few more dollars I would own a few other tools like the radio and work lite. But will take a few months other than that perfect for apartment living for hanging photos and shelving. Will buy more of this great product when more money comes available

Nice package

This is a nice package deal. The drills work great and the batteries hold a good charge. The carrying case is extremely handy.

I built most of a house with this pair of tools over a period of about 3 years. The drills housing is a bit light and with spade bits you can feel the case twisting and flexing some when drilling. The motor finally burned up in it earlier this year (Feb 2021). I tend to frame and sheath everything with screws first, and then come back and fully nail out the work in one shot so I must have driven 5,000 structural screws with the impact driver. not that good of a set

i bought this set needing an extra help when my dewalt set batteries died, but so far i'm not very impressed. The batteries don't last very long and the impact doesn't seem to have the real torque to drive very long screws in wood like other cordless products do i have

Bad Battery and no response from manufacturer

Review mainly for PC. Ordered this from lowes online on a tues, rcvd that Thurs and one batt will not charge. Contacted PC that day and now, 2 weeks later, still have not rcvd response on how to replace a brand new dead battery. Will be returning this and spend more money with more customer friendly manufacturer.

Trash!

I bought these drills thinking they would be an upgrade from my ryobi but I was wrong. They are very cheaply made and won’t hardly drive a 2 in wood screw. These are probably a good set for someone who only uses them on the weekends but for people who use them on a daily basis will be very upset. I spend more time trying to get them work then actually getting work done. I’ve had to send both impact and drill in to get both of them fixed. Just spend the money and get a good set.

Compact, comfortable and powerful.

Moved into new home with a lot of projects to do. Bought the drill set over two weeks ago have used drill almost every day. Replacing all new window treatments and any other job. Still on original charge. Drill is compact and comfortable to use seems very strong. At this point seems great for all I'll be doing as a homeowner DON't.

So much easier to drill through my brick walls.

I'm a small woman with not a lot of upper-body strength, but i do nearly all of my home improvements, hobbies and repairs myself. My 12 v. drill wasn't doing the job. I needed something that i could drill through my exterior brick walls and the metal around my windows to hang curtain rods and such. A Little Shocked

I just purchased this kit and I have never used a Porter Cable product before I am pleased as the fit and style and the work loads I place on them. The one drawback I have is there is no clip where you can hand on a pocket or a belt. That would be nice i had to get another bag to place in when i use whichever one. It been nice to use the clip that clip and hook and move grab and go. How ever it is a nice tool and recommend it to all and post more ads on your other products.

Great Deal

I got a really good deal on this kit at Lowes. So far I've been using the impact driver and love it. Can't wait to start putting it through the wringer!! Seems like a solid tool that will do well. Great replacement to my 17 year old Milwaukee cordless.
