Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The tools in this set offer strong power, torque, and performance, especially the impact driver, capable of handling a variety of DIY and construction tasks. The brushless motors provide efficient power delivery and extended battery life. The tools are lightweight, well-balanced, and comfortable to use. While the included batteries charge quickly and provide good runtime, some users noted shorter-than-expected battery life. Overall, this appears to be a high-quality brushless power tool set that delivers good value for DIY and home improvement projects, though it may not be durable enough for heavy professional use.

I used the brushless 20v impact driver daily for five years before it gave up. Bought a new one to replace it. Good tool!

Three years hard use and doing great!
Would RecommendI finally bought this battery powered kit after lugging cables around for years. We were in the middle of a major renovation of an older home, so I put both the impact driver and drill through a lot: heavy use, drops from ladders, time in the intense southern sun. Even today, three years of ownership later, the batteries still hold a strong charge and the tools work like new, even with the blemishes. I don't have anything to compare these to, but I've never had a complaint.
Overall pleased with this product
Would RecommendI have been an installer for Lowe's for many years now and ever since the 20-volt batteries came out I have purchased at least 3 or 4 sets of this combo kit. That may seem like a lot but I obviously use them more than the average person... The best part is that the batteries haven't changed and now I have like 8 batteries I can use. The batteries last a good amount of time and don't really take that long to charge. Oh I also bought the battery charging station which I recommend also.

Drill chuck locks and impact is good for the price
Would RecommendI have a full system of 20V porter cable and got a single 1/4 brushless impact to see what the rage was all about. I caught myself using it much more than my standard drill and impact because it felt meatier, more clearance, and had a higher amp hour rating on my standard batteries. I bought the drill and impact combo on sale and was very impressed with the quality of the drill this time around. The chuck locks in with a click and I found that it didn’t let standard pilot drill bits slip while I...

Does the job
Would RecommendUsed all day for work, they last me about 2 years on average. They get dropped and are exposed to every outside element.

Great tool and batteries
Would RecommendI got this set from my son in law and have used it constantly. The drill/driver has plenty of power and the batteries stay charged a good time and recharge quickly. It fits great in your hand and isnt too heavy. I haven't used the impact much but it seems to have more than enough power too
Do not last
Would Not RecommendBought this combo to replace an old Craftsman cordless drill while building a new house. Was impressed with both the power and battery life compared to the Craftsmen. Gears in the drill stripped out before the house was done. Driver lasted about two years and the entire chuck assembly broke off at the trigger and handle while tightening 1/4” nuts. Plastic just cracked all the way around. I will be buying Milwaukee tomorrow.
Great set of drills
Would RecommendThis is by far the best drills I’ve tried. It’s been about 2 years now and they have helped build numerous things. Used in a professional setting this is definitely contractor grade. Batteries don’t last long so you should probably buy spares.
Great tool, Great Price!

wow! the silent weapon!
Would RecommendGreat kit. Had this for over a year and leaving a review now cause I am going back for a sawzall.
Drills
Would RecommendI use a drill almost everyday and these two drill have stood up to the challenges. Very well built and it’s a tool I count on. I’ve used other brands and they just don’t hold up as well as these have.

Great Impact Drill
Would RecommendThis set is good for the price point. The impact drill is a must have for anyone that does projects all the time. The other drill is not as powerful as I would like when using a hole saw attachment, this is the only issue I have ever had with the set though through 5 years of using them.

Drill Set
Would RecommendI replaced an old DeWalt drill/driver with this dual power tool kit. The DeWalt was an older model, cumbersome and not arthritis friendly. My new Porter-Cable units are more compact and easier on my hands. These units are 20 volt vs the 14.5 volts of the DeWalt. I got good service from the DeWalt but one battery wouldn't charge anymore so I recycled it, the second one was still charging, but wouldn't hold the charge for long.
