Worked for 2 weeks

I liked what it did while it worked, but after about two weeks, it wouldnt work without applying pressue to the battery almost as if there wasnt a good connection. I have four batteries and tried them all and same issue. Sometimes it wouldn’t work at all. Besides that issue that halts the prohext altogther, it worked well.

Multipurpose Tool

I am very disappointed in this tool. I bought it to help with disassembling pallets for my hobby business but the blades don’t cut the nails. It works great as a sander but otherwise it’s pretty useless.

In very small print it said battery not included. Very disappointed in that for the price

died after very minimal use

Have the PC 20v impact driver and drill that i really like. bought this tool and used it for very little (<1hr) before it started pulsing (surging motor speeds) and it had some sort of internal failure. Additionally it was extremely loud before it died, much louder than chorded versions of this tool i have. stay away, waste of money.

Such a versatile product

This tool goes anywhere and can do anything that you will need to do. Good value for the $.

Nice little gadget

If you're already a member of the 20v Porter-Cable family, you can't beat $35 for this multi-tool. If you need a battery, go get one. The only gripe I have is that I wish it came with a case or bag or something.

Horrible, no battery

It takes a new kind of dumb for a company to sell a wireless power tool with no battery or charger. Why include the bits that go to the tool in the first place why not sell those separately to. Why not just sell the whole thing completely disassembled and sell all the parts separately.

The product I picked up was used in a box that had been taped up, and I didn't open it for a few days when I noticed it was dusty and one of the accessories had been used already, should have been discounted since it was used already!

Great Tool

This is a great tool! I have had a Nextec but this is head over heals much improved.

Overheat Shutdown in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...

So I just got the Porter Cable 20v Oscillator 2 hrs ago, since I have the power drill and impact wrench. It would be nice to use the existing batteries. Dead wrong. I read and watched the bad reviews after I ordered it and hoping I would luck out. I used it to cut a metal wire rack. Nothing much, right? Wrong! I even used brand new Imperial Blades with Titanium tips and 3 minutes it kept on shutting down. Usually do to overheating, a fail safe on how they wired it up. Or, it could be a horrib...

Many uses!!

Bought this item for the many uses it's provides. From sanding into corners, cutting wood, cutting sheet metal, and more. I bought it April 28 2020 and may, 6 it arrived. I have sanded and cut with it already and have used one just like it before my love that it uses the same batteries I already have. I only recommend using the 4.0 batteries. Will work with the smaller ones but for time duration and power I think it would best with the 4.0. I must have when it comes to handy man jobs. I do a lot...

Great Tool

Bought this for some DIY projects and it's an awesome little tool. It does what's required without issues. Been a PC tool man for years and have never been disappointed.
